[Other] Transferring Maps

    Hey all,
    I am trying to transfer the faraway island map from Emerald to Fire Red. I can import the map in just fine, but when I do so all the tiles are messed up. How can I import the tiles and or/events from one ROM to the other?
     
    The tiles are messed up because the tilesets are different between the games. The quickest and easiest way to transfer a map between games would be to copy the tileset and the block tileset along with the map, though from what I remember Faraway Island uses tileset 0 mostly, so changing that would "mess up" the tiles of all your other maps using that tileset.
     
    Hmmm...... Ok, thanks. Sounds like I'm gonna have to think some more about how I'm going to go about this.
     
    Why not just copy it manually, as in, make the map all over again yourself?
     
    Yeah, that's probably what I'm going to end up doing.
