I dunno, I would pick the second one. But thats just me..wich ever one you get after you've had it for a while your going to wsih you had got the other one(that goes for what ever one you get..) so it might help to get both or neither.

you would have been WAY to young to remember it it was just the sequal to beast wars

Actually I'm only a year older than him and I remember Beast Wars and Beast Machines clearly..maybe its because I liked them so much I got the newly released seasons...but as I recall..beast machines sucked, did come close to BW.

Thats one of the reasons it only ran for two seasons...technically it was a end to the "origenal" universe it's like the chars counter attack of beastwars
