Alana shrugged. "Well you seemed really down and since your arm was hurt I figured you might be needing some help for a while." She shrugged again and picked up some books. "I'm going to go ahead and unpack." She put her things away then laid back on the bed and stared at the ceiling. "I've gotten the rest of the day off so I don't have to go to the rest of my lessons."

"That's great! Maybe we could do something in the meantime?" I said, and got up. "Here, let me help you unpack. There's an important term test coming next week. If you go to your classes you mind if you get all the work and studies for me so I can get prepared here in my dorm? I mean, my parents will see the grade I got, and if it's a bad one...."

Alana smiled. "Yeah I'll get them for you." They had finished putting her things away. "So why did your parents send you to a boarding school." She asked curiously. The stone around her neck glowed faintly nd she remembered what the wind had said. A storm. She shrugged. It wasn't supposed to be big or even strong.

"They were sick and tired of me disobeying their abusive orders. They also wanted to see what I do away from them. I know it, but they don't think I do, that they asked the principal to keep a watch on me and everyone I hang around with. That also means you I guess. Might want to watch out." I said in a low voice, then looked at my watch. "I guess it's time for lunch...."

Alana grinned slightly. "Well I wouldn't worry about them keeping an eye on me. I've always been able to avoid the gaze of those I don't want watching. Besides I've got a new ally." She tapped the stone around her neck. Then dug around her things until she found her watch. She put it on before checking it. "Yeah its time for lunch. Are you hungry. If you don't feel like going I can bring something back."

How could I feel like going? Alana's got all the skill, and I've got a free pass out of my worst nightmare, with a fee that is. I wanted to escape from this school, since it will take some time before the news gets to my parents. I will never be sent back. Not even after graduation. Never.
But I couldn't go now, not yet. For 13 year olds, even begging at people's doors won't do no good. There would be some things I need to take from home first. Things I will need to move on into my new life.
I told Alana to go for me, and I sat there thinking, holding my rock at the same time. I wonder if it will help me....

Alana watched her for a minute more then turned and left with her hand on the stone. She wasn't sure why she felt so strongly about the stone or why she was so worried about Mary. She shook her head trying to clear it but that never worked. She reached the cafetia and got two trays. She turned and quickly left. No one saw her leave. Good. She thought. That means no trouble. I can bring these back later. She reached the dorm as the first crack of thunder was heard in the distance. This surprised her. She hadn't been entirely sure the message had been real. It had been. She entered the dorm and put the trays on the desks beside the two beds. "I wasn't sure what to get so I got a bit of everything for each of us." She sat down at her desk and sifted through her food. She was always catious at a new school. Some foods from school were so odd you'd think they were still alive. She was glad she didn't eat meat. Though she was sure her salad had winked at her once.

'Wow. I wonder what it is like to be in heaven.' I sat there daydreaming until I heard Alana's voice. I looked back surprisingly then calmed down, "Hey, not bad food isn't it? Dosen't hurt that much." I said and picked up a fork, then noticed Alana wasn't eating. "What is wrong? The food seems all normal to me...."

Alana grinned and shrugged. "Just that the last school I served fried hawk so I've been careful. It wouldn't have been so bad if they hadn't of called it fried rolls. That's basically what it looked like. How they did that though I'll never know." She grinned again and started to eat some of the fruit she had gotten. "Not bad. At least it tastes like real food."

OOC: There are soooooooooooooooooooooooooo many ways to insult school food.

ooc: Yeah, but were not here to insult it..right?
ic: "Real food that gives you appetite. Much better than eating at home. From what I see now, I might as well stay in my dorm for the next month. I started writing a story about someone I used to know, who died trying to escape from prison. It was the only person who I think had worse luck than me. You might want to read it."
After I finished eating, my stomach started hurting. 'What now?' I thought. I can't make Alana do any more. I'll just pretend nothing happened....

OOC: No but its fun. :P

Alana finished eating and nodded. "I'd like to. I like to write. Fantasies are my favorite." She heard another crack of thunder and a streak of lightning ripped the sky. "Maybe I should write about this. The stone that gives the holder wind. The Wind Stone. Glowing with the power of air it enables the holder to hear things they could not have heard other wise. It allows you to speak with the heavens and control the winds that blow messages." She stopped and grinned sheepishly again. "Uh sorry about that. I got carried away."

i decided not to eat, but instead try to control the stone. i took off my belt, and held the stone up. i rose my hand, and simoltaniously, a ball of fire shot from my hand. it was wierd.' well hey, if i fail a test, i could torch the teacher!'

ooc: It creates darkness, right?
ic: I didn't know Alana could be like that sometimes. I always thought she was a cheerful and childish girl. Most teenagers are not like that. I smiled at her and said, "its ok. It made me know another part of you, don't you think? Well I hope your story goes well. Let me read it when you're done." I handed her a few pieces of paper.

occ: yup.

ic: i got up, and walked over to the bench. i tried not to toutch the stone, besause i found out that the power onlyworks if i was toutching it. i looked up. the sky was dark, and it was kinda freaky. it was almost pitch black, so i could barely see. suddenly, a bolt of lightning flashed in front of me. i grabbed the back of the bench in pitiful shock. i looked in front of me. there was a man in a cloke there. i blinked, then he was gone. i sat there for a minute, then grabbed my stuff and headed to gym. the first person i saw was chris.

"chris! you gotta come with me!" i said grabbing his arm.

OOC: I just looked back at my first posts and relized that I'm Akira. Sorry about that.

"Thanks." Said Akira taking the paper. She pushed her chair forward a little and picked up her pencil. She thought for while but couldn't think of how to start. Finally she just shrugged and started writing down ideas for a horror story she had been thinking on for a while. She forgot about what she was going to write and became obsorbed in the story.

OOC: If we finish the RP I'm going to end my last post like a book I read once.

I followed the kid to the gym before stopping and running in the other direction yelling for her to follow me when we got back to the main door of the school there was a yell of pain that was cut short by a loud crash by the gym. I ran towards int with the kid at foot. when we got to the gym we noticed the gym had been completly flattened and if we had of gone in there we would of been killed

Seeing as Akira was so into the story itself and was probably not polite to talk during this time, I grabbed the small folder placed beside her, and continued with my own story, although I still kept wondering what she was writing about. I took out an empty page and started writing.

"He looked around. It was so boring. Nothing to do but sit there and daydream. He was almost asleep when he heard a knock on the door. When he opened it and saw a female figure at the door, his jaw dropped, and he nearly fainted...."

?Into the woods. We?ll be safest there.? I called vanishing into the trees. Hannah and Amanda were right behind me. We had almost reached the creek that was behind my house when Hannah screamed. ?Hannah!? I cried wheeling round. She was lying on the ground and the thing was standing over her. She wasn?t moving but I could tell she wasn?t dead.

Akira stopped writing for a moment to think. The thunder was on them now and the electricity in the meant there was alot of lightning as well. There was the sound rain it wasn't too heavy but it was coming down harder and harder. Akira stood up and walked to the door. She eased it open and stepped outside. The wind roared and she closed her eyes to listen. It gave her the message before and some more. She walked back inside and said, "Well this storm is going to be worse than I thought. Probably tornado warnings but there won't really be any tornados. The weather channel always predicts the worst though." She walked over to her desk and picked up her pencil.

I shivered by the sounds of the storm outside, and turned to Akira. "So, something tells me your wind stone caused parts of this?" I said in a joking voice, then returned to writing.

'At that instant, he knew what it meant. The possibility of her, a runaway, making it to him was zero. They'd have caught her for good. Here, they stand face to face, and for the first time ever, he held her in his arms. "I'm sorry I left you out before. I didn't know how you were determined to be with me. Now, I promise you, I will hide you from them, until you have the strength to face them on your own, I understand your hatred towards them now, you didn't have to give me the three reasons anymore...." '

Akira shrugged. "I dought it but it's not immpossible." She grinned and went back to writing.

She was trying to fool the creature into thinking she was. It didn?t work. The creature placed one of its six-inch claws on her neck. She begged for help but it was too late for us to do anything, though we tried to save her. Before we could go more than two steps, the creature sunk its claw deep into her flesh and ripped upward.

I was paralyzed. I couldn?t think. Amanda was in the same condition. We looked on helplessly as the creature dropped Hannah and began moving slowly towards us. Though the last thing I wanted to do was leave Hannah?s body in the grasp of that thing I knew we had to escape. Grabbing Amanda?s shoulder I wheeled her around and we started running again.

OOC: I actually wrote this for class. It so funny they way they reacted.
