I think it's great that you're experimenting with some shading. At your age, many kids don't even know what shading means. O_o And it looks like you're playing around with highlights as well as shading, that's cool.
One of the things you should try is to increase the contrast between the different shades. For instance, on your Raikou, there's a big difference between the main yellow and the darker orange. That helps it stand out. If you apply that same concept to your Sableye, it would greatly improve the effect since right now, it looks rather pale.

Cute Pokémon (not all of them, just the ones no one bothers using >.>) are always rarely drawn, sad, but true ;_; But I never get inspired to make pixel art of over-drawn Pokémon -_- And you don't even want to know what things I have tried to make without being inspired look like *shivers*.Forest Grovyle said:Awwww, what a cute Caterpie! ^^ A rarely-drawn Pokémon, too! I think you've done a great job with this!
Thanks ^_^ (the 'Thanks ^_^' part sound familiar somehow, I wonder why? XP)I think you've done a great job with this! I agree with you that the stomach is a little off, but the rest of it looks great! I like the little highlight on his antennae. :D Awesome work, and keep it up! ;)

Thanks for the (constructive) criticism ^^ I never really learned how to use the curvey line tool, everything just turned out weird when I decided to try it out. Maybe I just need more training. Yea, I know I should use dithering, I don't know why I haven't, though O.oI be tweleve and I know what shading is.
You main problem is your line art, it needs to be more steady try using the line tool to round off thing. Also try dithering makes you look more profesional.
