Growing up I had a big collection but It got left behind one of the times my parents moved us. Ever since I never wanted to get back into collecting till recently when my son and I got into collecting. I'm a sucker for nostalgia and want to open some packs with my sons to take them back to my childhood. Even if only one or two. But daaaaang I'm not poor by any means but I certainly can't afford those prices. 😞 maybe some day right?

I feel ya. If you're not picky about what cards you get, try fb groups and buy cheap bundles.

I'm a little late to this thread but if you're wanting to buy cards, now is probably going to be the best time for older sets and packs. The Loan Paul hype has started to settle and a lot of Cards, Graded Cards and Booster Packs have gone down in value. I should say, not every set has but you should be able to find some decent cards for an OK-ish price. :)
