    VOTES
    Turtwig = 2
    Chimchar = 1

    Starting pokemon: Chimchar

    Starting pokemon: None
Reason: Chimchar is OHKO by everyone, Turtwig is slow as hell, and Piplup is just plain retarded

Pfft they all have their advantages

    Torterra
Pro - Good Physical wall and sweeper.
Con - 4x weakness to ice

    Infernape
Pro - Diversity, can be physical, special or mixed
Con - Can take many hits

    Empoleon
Pro - Lots of nice resistances, and makes a good special wall/sweeper
Con - Slow, and weak to common attacks (electric, fighting and ground)

    Starting pokemon: Turtwig
Reason: grass types are my second favorite type, and because torterras are awsome

    Piplup

Reason: It was too cute =) Although I chose a fire type in my Hoenn one since Blaziken just Pwned.

    Turtwig:
Good Points: Very strong when at max strength
    Bad Points: Slow as hell

    Chimchar:
Good Points: A Fast attacker and has powerful fight attacks
Bad Points: It can get its ass kicked by Torterra with Earthquake

    Piplup:
    Goodpoints: umm....
    Badpoints: Its retarded

    My vote: TURTWIG

    Starting pokemon: Chimchar
Reason: Has the strongest starting offence attack and is one of the only sinnoh fire pokemon.

    Reason: It's a friggin PENGUIN!

Movesets based on Serebii.net and my editings. :p

    Torterra
Pros: Nice type combo, Earthquake, good physical stats, good movepool, pseudo-Skarmory
Cons: 4x weakness Ice, bad special attack and Speed (i don't really care for special defense... :p)

    Torterra @Leftovers
    Ability: Overgrow
    Nature: Impish (-Sp. Atk., +Def.)
    Stealth Rock
    Earthquake
    Wood Hammer
    Synthesis
    EV's: 252 HP/148 Atk/108 Def
    Physical Wall and Team Supporter

    Infernape
Pros: Nice attack stats and Speed.
Cons: Old starting type combo, low defenses

    Infernape @Expert Belt
    Ability: Blaze
    Nature: Hasty (-Def., +Speed)
    Close Combat
    Flamethrower
    Stone Edge
    Grass Knot
    EV's: 128 Atk/128 Sp. Atk/252 Speed
    Mixed Sweeper

    Empoleon
Pros: Resists many types, makes a good special Skarmory.
Cons: Special attack only stat over base 100, may fall to Electric, Fighting, and Ground attacks

    Empoleon @Leftovers
    Ability: Torrent
    Nature: Calm (-Atk, +Sp. Atk)
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Grass Knot
    Stealth Rock
    EV's: 252 HP/4 Sp. Atk/252 Sp. Def
    Special Wall and Team Supporter

Hope that helped. By the way, Piplup's the cutest. HAPPY FEET!

    Starting pokemon: Chimchar (now Infernape)
Reason: Because I thought since the majority of the new pokemon in Sinnoh Valley were grass and other types - but a fire pokemon was rare, I figured that could work towards my advantage! Now, I'm discovering that Infernape is quite diverse and can learn a lot of different attacks (such as the grass knot) that I never thought possible.
