Introduction

Hey guys, this is a revive of the Two Move Challenge! The original didn´t do to well, but I´m hoping this time around it´s more popular.The basics are simple: Each pokemon in your party can only use two moves in battle, a status move and an "attack" move (physical or special). Here are the in-depth rules:

Rules

*Each pokemon you're going to use can only use two moves in battle: a status move, and the already mentioned "attack" move.
*You may not ever switch either move. So, if your status move is Hypnosis, you may not later change it for Yawn, etc.
*As soon as a move is used in battle, it is counted as one of the moves. So, if you use tackle only ONCE, it's now the "attack" move and may not be changed.
*You can use another move ONLY if you run out of PP of BOTH moves, and then ONLY if ALL other pokemon in your party (except HM slaves) are fainted/also have run out of PP on both moves. If you run out of PP on Cross Poison, but still have PP on Swords Dance, sorry, you have to run out of PP on Swords Dance first.
*If your pokemon is not available before the FOURTH gym you may hack/trade it in. You can only hack up to three pokemon, and they may not be higher leveled than the lowest leveled pokemon on your party. (Excluding HM slaves of course.) You can trade as many pokemon as you want, but only as eggs.
*Yes, if you are emulating you can hack egg moves on you pokemon.
*No legendaries (Duh.)
*You're going to have to deal with immunities. Try to make sure your team can attack anything; For example, don't have all your attack moves be poison types in case of steel types. Feel free to use your status move as a way around these immunities, such as Miracle Eye, etc.
*For extra challenge, do this challenge along with another one (ex: Two Move Monotype)
*Try an Ultimate for the...uh, ultimate experience.
*If you use your starter, then you can wait until you catch another pokemon to decide on your move (don't worry, you aren't enternally doomed to Tackle and Growl)
*Have fun!

Sorry for being a day late, on vacation in Bariloche hehe. Regarding the rule, it kind of destroys the whole thing, most people do that on their normal runs anyway (like, on my Honchkrow on HG, I used primarily Nasty Plot, Dark Pulse, and Night Slash, and rarely used Fly). It wouldn't be very challenging.

For the record, I switched to Volt White.

Anyway, I apologise in advance for forgetting to take a screenie of my PC box to show my entire bug collection, as well as not taking screens of the rivals, but here's first update anyway.

*Had trouble getting the ROM to [COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important]work[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR] and everything, but it eventually worked.
*Named myself Tente.
*Chose Tepig as starter (if I chose Snivy I fight fire types at the gym, and paras isn't prepared to fight against that, and Oshawott would've been the smarter choice (I would fight against Dent) but I used Miju recently and I was bored of it) Besides, I've never used Tepig before. Named it Topeca. Cookies to whoever gets the obscure reference.
*After [COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important][COLOR=blue !important][FONT=inherit !important]tutorial[/FONT][/FONT][/COLOR][/COLOR], checked my PC. *Gasp*, a Paras! *How* could it have gotten there? I have no idea...(Paras was lv 5, and had Bug Bite. Bug Bite is one of Paras's egg moves, so there's no difference between breeding one and trading it and hacking Bug Bite) I also gave it Pokerus, but then I felt guilty and threw away two potions. Named it Coyle (actually, it was already nicknamed Coyle)
*Beat up N. Battle went as follows:
-Topeca 1HKOed Nincada
-Coyle was sent out for Mankey. Effect Spore put Mankey to sleep and Coyle won.
-Coyle 1HKOed Purrloin.
*I boxed Topeca.
*Because of my bug-collecting special mission, I went on to route 2 and caught a Kricketot, a Weedle, a Caterpie, and two Wurmple (luckily I didn't have to catch any more Wurmple). Some grinding later, I was left with a Beedrill, a Silcoon, a Cascoon, and a Metapod. Boxed all the bugs, except for Coyle of course.
*This game is a lot harder than I thought, lost a lot of money to a Lass.
*Beat Bianca. Battle went like this.
-Starly fell asleep because of Effect Spore. Coyle won.
-Snivy fell asleep because of Effect Spore. Coyle won.
No kidding! Effect Spore is really useful!
*Got to Striaton City, or whatever it's called. Tried to beat Cheren. Failed miserably because Coyle is overleveled and won't listen to me.

Yes Nurse Joy wannabe, don't rub it in my face.

And here's a preview!

Anyway, in-depth:

*Tried Cheren again, didn't stand a chance. Starly 1HKOed Coyle before he could even do anything. And you thought that little thing was cute.
*At this point I realized with Coyle's horrible speed (I could even participate in the Painfully Slow challenge with it) I wasn't going anywhere. Grinding Coyle wouldn't help, because it won't listen and grinding it would be torture.
*So, ran in the grass for a while until I encountered a Misty-B-Gone. In other words, Weedle. And it was hairless, too, Gamefreak.
*Named it Quilxphin. Ground about four levels and evolved it into a Beedrill.
*Best choice ever. Quilxphin totally sweeped Cheren.
*Stupid Dent made me get another pokemon. So, I went to the Dream Yard and got a Pansage.
*After the nightmare that was Cheren (before Quilxphin), the gym was nothing. Quilxphin once again killed everything. Now the health inspectors are going to shut that poor restaurant down because there are chopped up corpses everywhere.

(Yes, I hacked Sableye and Magnemite in advance, but it's a hassle to hack them in so I thought I'd do it once. It's not like I'm going to use them now anyway.)

Graphical limitations!

*Fennel made me go steal a pokemon's marijuana natural excrements at an abandoned old facility. Porn and creepypasta makers, let your imaginations go wild.
*But some creeps were already doing it for me. IT'S A MENAGE A TROIS
*Anyway, left Striaton City and made my way to route 3. Stopped by the Daycare to beat up small defenseless children. I could probably make up more dirty jokes but I won't risk the infraction.
*Cheren apparently didn't learn his lesson from when I mauled his pokemon and tried to confront me again. Then again, his pitiful little AI probably doesn't comprehend even if we lose we just go back to the Pokecenter anyway.

Gee. I have no idea...

*Caught me a Shellos! My ground-type! Named it Thoummaeus. Also, I got a Taillow HM slave which I named Bird Abuse. (I thought it could learn cut...)
*Those Plasma creeps don't listen, do they? Me and Cheren beat them up, then delivered the girl's pokemon to her. Wha'd we get? A lousey stick with string attached we won't ever use.
*We arrived in Nacrene city. That means a gym!
*...But first, we fought a creepy stalker.

*Anyway, now to get down to real buisness. I-

Well, first of all, I restarted this on my Platinum cartridge! Yayzies! No more ROM related excuses for me!

Second, I slightly edited the rules of the challenge.

I deleted my old post and posted this new one because it's an update I thought worth noting specially. If this is against the rules, sorry, this is a one-time thing.

EDIT: Mini-update, just saying I got Piplup as starter. May or may not use it...
