Two New Special Episodes Coming in April!

    Serebii.net dropped this today. I'm paraphrasing as usual.

    On April 13th, TV Tokyo is doing an hour long special episode called "Pokemon Ranger! Deoxys Crisis."

    As you can see, it will feature Deoxys and the Pokemon Rangers. It is the first new hour long special episode since the Crystal special that aired on December 30, 2001.

    And on top of that, there is another special as well, called "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" in the same month.     Serebii.net has a mini synopsis of that one.

    Looks like the special episodes are returning, how about that?
     
    "The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon" sounds interesting but there seems to be alot of Ranger promotion at the moment with the upcoming movie, the episode with Celebi in it and now a special about it.
     
    I don't really care much about the special episodes because I don't get to see them because of me being in the US but they sound intresting.

    Still. The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon does sound like a scary one. Think about. Pokemon that have no weakness. That sounds like a plan that Team Rocket can be behind. I smell Rockets. Then Misty and Ash being together again?

    Pokemon Ranger! Deoxys Crisis Sounds strange. I wonder what this have to offer.

    Can't wait for the episode pictures on Serebii.
     
    Wow, they are really going all out with the promotion of the Rangers. Lets just hope this episode is good. The Mastermind of Mirage Pokemon sound interesting, can't help but wonder if the mastermine is bad or good. Anyway I'm looking forward to these, specials are always fun.
     
    Both of the specials seem interesting to me. I'm wondering though why it's just Ash, Misty, and Proffessor Oak for the Mirage Special...

    And I'm wondering how they got the Mirage Special. There was none in Japan, right? Or did they pay for it to be animated?
     
    Both of the specials sound really interesting. A special about the Pokemon Rangers and Deoxys and one about Mirage Pokemon. I'm looking forwad to both of them! Wonder why May, Max and Brock aren't in the Mirage Special...
     
    Meh....everything after the first few Specials seems troublesome funny how they only did the Legend Of Thunder Raikou aka the Crystal One, then after that they never did anything else nothing on Entei or Sucine.
     
    Kahashi, I agree with you, although at least Suicune had the fourth movie to show off, I think Entei would need the promotion the most.

    But Arichan certainly makes a good point: they are really trying to promote the heck out of Rangers. Got a movie based on them, now a Special Episode. Granted they were introduced before in the anime (the reuniting Larvitar with its mother episode) but not as important as here.
