So, as of right now Hoenn sits as the only region that we have played through that had you not fighting one, but two villainous teams! What do you think about this decision of having two teams? Did you find yourself siding with one, or did you think both of their arguments were pointless? Or did you think they were just unnecessary carbon copies of each other and Gamefreak should have just stuck with one evil team?

I like to believe that it was a good move. None other game has two villainous group like this, and it's what separates Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald from the rest.

Though, one thing that I personally wasn't too fond of is their involvement. In Emerald, they were there for majority of the game, I understand, but most of it did not lead to any big event; it was simply them talking to each other, and leaving the scene, if you know what I mean. If it were more than that, I'm sure it would have been much, much more interesting.

As for siding with teams, I don't ever remember picking one over other; I've always considered them to be equal, as they both had similar amount of grunts, executives, and so forth.

My two favorite villainous groups of all time! I loved this within the games haha as it was unique and made for a much better storyline just adding on to the reasons as to why RSE were my favorite games ever c: I did actually find myself siding with Team Aqua more haha. Not sure exactly why; maybe it was because I thought water was much more important than sunlight? Idk now but back then it made sense to me!

I loved it. They were comical and they went just went the story line. I think past games could've taken advantage of this, and it's weird that only RSE did. They also added as great EXP fillers for taking on gyms.

I definitely liked Team Magma more. Being an excessive Blaziken trainer, double kicking the Poocheynas was always a lot better than dealing with the Zubats.
