With me turning 19 in a few months, I figure that it might be time for me to share some vital information with you guys and gals. You see, I'm mormon, meaning that it is time to do what 19 year old mormon boys do.. preparing themselves to go on a mission. Now, how is this relevant?
Well, I just received my mission call/papers/w/e, meaning that for the next two years I'll reside in Leeds, England - and I'll not be able to browse PC at all, for all purposes I'll be gone from here. Luckily (for me at least :x), this isn't immediate, so I will be staying until August the 5th this year, and most likely return at around the same time in 2013.
With me leaving rather soon, however, I figure that I might as well make this a decent shout-out to those that I've met on here;
PRE-Supercool & Mesmerizing-era:
Maci12 - You made PC a very fun place to be with your "create a pokemon league" event, even though I guess we eventually went rather far overboard with it.. XD (ven ven, ven everywhere) I wish I'd see more of you, but it seems like you vanished off the earth's surface afterwards :< Regardless, thanks for the memories.
Skippy - The first S&M'er I ever befriended, go you! Nothing like having intense showdowns in the above thread together with Zeta Dimentio etc :x You really should be more on the PO server, just saying, but thanks for being a somewhat "gentle" stepping stone on the way of entering S&M, it means a lot to me that I actually had a friend there when I sort of joined.
Bobandbill - I've barely talked to you, I know, but I still believe that "The Retelling of Pokémon Colosseum" is one of the best reads there is next to a well made battle log, and I thoroughly thank you for writing that up.
Syrynn - Partially the same as BnB over there, you are an amazing writer that I often turn back to when I feel like reading something that I know to be good, but you were also a fierce rival in the abovementioned contest, and I'm proud to call you my friend despite the fact that we almost never keep in touch as well as being lurk-ative people both of us. Sort of.
Everyone participating in the PPC ever - I had a lot of fun, and I hope you did too. On occations this was the sole reason why I kept returning to PC, at least until I found a place to anchor myself safely. Still pretty fun, though I never won :[ bs hax.
Pokemon General / Rom Hacking - Awesome.
S&M-era:
Nate and Lala - I'm sticking you two together because you were basically my first friends on shoddy, that I would often PM when yankee / syndy / vance etc harrassed each other, and you kept me from leaving despite their apparent madness. Thank you for your patience and your kind personalities, though I really must admit that you do go on my nerves eventually Lala with your constant bickering about "Norway being rich due to their oil" etc in every conversation we had XDDD Also Nate you really should stop lurking on Youtube.
Syndrome - According to Wolf you've never ever changed, and I really hope that you don't mature up soon because I love kicking you. A lot. Despite the fact that your sarcasm and ranting is usually pretty fun to watch, I will miss you the same way I'll miss having diarrhea. jkjk ilu
D_A - Despite of you being the definition of "intimidating" to me when I first joined, I realized fairly quickly that you were a really nice guy the instant I contacted you on the server, helping me out with UU stall (despite me being horrible and having no idea how to play stall at alll (LESSON #1 learned, make sure that you GET. YOUR. DAMNED. HAZARDS. UP. XD)) I'll likely never forget the instant that you modded me on Shoddy just a few months after as well, I swear I was so high on power.. and proceeded to kick yankee off the instant he logged on, and just a little while later Syndrome in particular raged asking "why the hell is oppo a mod" , and I near constantly bothered you daily asking if I really should be allowed to have this much power hahaha XD (and now you can regret that, hah!). The time spent with you cannot be described with other words than "good times indeed". Thanks for everything elf, and I really hope you'll get things working out for you. Who knows, depending on where you live on the islands I might possibly hang out with you?
Beach - Sup awesome? Despite the fact that we never spoke that much to each other, it was always cool having a brother in arms when it came to battle log fascination (I still remember mauling your Forretress with a CB Aggron Head Smash as well.. then you switched in Swampert only for it to crit and do even more to it despite the resist XDD ... and eventually you won thanks to Jirachi flinching the rest of my UU team, fff) I hope that you'll return eventually despite my failure at trying to bring the Battle Logs subforum back, it was great knowing you. (and of course thanks for opening up the Walrein clan for a split second so that I could slip inside! Pity that it got deleted.. made that kinda moot but it was still neat)
Thoughts - Despite what others might say, you are a pretty cool guy, who I enjoy talking to, but you're never online anymore :< (barring the mod party that was plenty fun recently haha) It was fun kicking you too tho, I'll admit to that. :x
Vance - and just when I thought that you couldn't possibly get any meaner than D_A in the beginning, you prove it to me really well. Regardless, despite of your blatant trolling you were a really fun fellow, and tbh I'd rather see Yankee banned than you (though with mods now being able to ban (again, thank the heavens!) it might just happen..). Thanks for not slaughtering me as well.
Locz - Thanks for being trollbait deluxe, and allowing me to partially part-take in flameland :x
Fire Wolf - Due to your silly indian time zones, you usually were the only guy online back when I first joined Shoddy, and as a result we've had a couple of nice chats, despite you apparently having the ability "Magnet Pull" when it comes to bans on there haha. Nevertheless, you're more than OK in my book. :)
RTHookers - You are a pretty cool fellow as well, though with you being banned quite a while ago, I guess you just exited S&M in the good ol'e classical style. Thanks for inspiring my awesome hippo-related username though! Dead hens can still find golden nuggets, or something.
Kalsard - Gaming buddy that I never talk to as much as I should, know that you are awesome. Hopefully you'll keep your word and become more active despite the fact that you live down under with your silly time zones.
Gamer - I'm reserving this for you - you are a p funny and cool person, know that despite the fact that you probably hate us all by now, what with you leaving us behind. >:( Regardless, I'm glad that I got to experience S&M together with you, since we both started out as noobs at the same time, haha. (I'll never forget when you for instance suggested Heatran as an Ape counter.. oh man. )
Wolf - Old mod buddy! You're probably one of the most flamboyant persons that I know about, and like most of you guys that are probably reading this, spending time with you has always been a pleasure. Nothing like having the unofficial "ban the bad user"-game on shoddy as well when I got newly appointed.. and that basically continued until you got admined and modded on here u____u / we moved on to PO, haha. Basically the way you're acting is something that I'm striving towards trying to become, or something. Surpreme mod, that got modded not that long ago. Thanks for being a great example and friend, wolf.
Luke - I probably haven't talked to you as much as you
deserve, though you might be better off in that regard as I really prefer to keep my mouth shut at times and I'm probably extremely annoying when I chatter - regardless I'm glad that I've gotten to know you a little bit at least, and watching you banning and kicking makes it no wonder who one of the original S&M mods could possibly be. I hope that the previous sentence made sense.
Aura - I have really not talked that much to you either, but I'm going to blame that on the fact that you are never ever on, or when you are you tend to do nothing (like the rest of us, we lazy bastards haha) Regardless, I've had a great time when you've decided to stay as well, especially if you'd care to remember a certain "Glaceon incident"... ;D mmm fanfics were written. Stay strong with your beverages and know that you'll be haunted forever by female weightlifters.
Aero - I haven't really talked to you that much until lately, but it turns out that you are amazing as well, and you're actually one of the few to not instantly die when I comment on stuff with my horrible horrible puns which I appreciate a lot. Hiking/mod buddies we shall forever remain <3 (but work those image hunting skills dawg, cmonnn)
Anti - I've always thought of you as a second D_A when it came to the way you act, but sadly I didn't get to know you until only recently, which really is a pity because I now think of you as one of the funniest and most awesome users there is on the server, and I really enjoy chatting along. (as well as reading your tl;dr posts, but that isn't exactly new)
BlaQk - You're like a second Syndrome, only in a good way XD Haven't seen too much of you lately, but you are a great guy. Keep the Trading Corner strong.
Vrai - You are probably amongst the top of the top percentage of the people that I know, really. Despite just usually chatting with you about my hacking ideas etc I'm really glad to call you my friend, and speaking with you would in most situations do nothing but cheer me up, which I greatly apprechiate. (ew now I'm being political again) My pear <3 Hope that you'll get things in your life fixed and up and running again.
Jake - You were one of the first that I got to know on the shoddy server to me, though I've yet to see you for a while. College happened to you, eh? Regardless, it has been a fun run, and I hope that you'll stick around for some more hot action around here.
Yankee - Your absense is missed! Or, well, not really. ;D You are still pretty fun though, but I will most likely keep treating you like a sword, pointy end away from me, or get off "my" server. :x
dragonomega - ah, my beloved apprentice! Now that I'll be leaving, I'll believe in you taking my spot as the bad pun maker, the idle-goer, the bad troller of randoms et cetera, oh and ofc you'll have to make gimmicky teams deluxe :] You're awesome, always know that, and I hope that you'll enjoy your stay in S&M.
sims - Your reputation preceeds you, based on your posting in S&M earlier I've known you to be a funny guy, and boy are you that. We don't tend to chat that much, but keep the activity going and give DA a reason to log on at times (especially so that he can spam waluigi on your profile yet once more ;D )
Blade - Gurl, you crazy. I hope that you'll be able to keep your bad members in check, and despite the fact that we usually never chat much you've always been very helpful whenever I ask about anything breed/trading-related. Keep Aura invigorated as well and steal BeachBabe back onto PC, mk?

Oh, I've also recently started hanging out at the IRC server a fair bit, so I might as well shout out a little bit to you guys as well and say that I've greatly enjoyed the brief stay (I'll likely stay online for these few months as well though, but you catch my drift!) Thanks Nica, Regen, Zeffy, Soggy, Kaori, Vudw etc for a lot of fun as well.
Still feels like I've forgotten a ton, but I can't be ASSED to type more, so bother me if you feel left out XD
