I tried to join the Vale Institute of Magic RP. I wrote the whole SU, which was longer than most, and hit send. And then the website decided to log me out, so my SU disappeared. Once I stopped being angry and wrote it again, it happened again. Can you think of some way to fix it? Either fixing the AFK kicking thing and implementing it to know when you're typing, or making an autosave for posts.

Do you have the 'remember me' box ticked on log in? It might just be you're being timed out, but with the button you'll remain logged in so shouldn't have the issue.

Do you remember to tick the "remember me" box before logging in? You can always just log out again if it's on a public computer or one you share, but I'd definitely recommend using that to avoid automatically getting logged out.

An autosave feature has already been requested several times, and I believe it's in the works for PC 2, so you'll have to wait for that. In the meantime, if you're using either Google Chrome or Firefox, you should get the Lazarus: Form Recovery extension. It automatically saves what you type, so you'll be able to recover it in cases like that :)

I know it's no help now, but I definitely recommend getting the Lazarus extension for Chrome/Firefox - it saves text as you're writing it so even if the page refreshes or whatever happens, it'll all be saved ready for you to call back up again. It's saved my booty several times with internet errors/site sign-out times, so I highly recommend it for problems like this.
