Ultimate Solo Challenge

I've been looking for a group that does an ultimate solo challenge, similar to Allakhazam17's Ultimate Monotype Challenge.

Picking one pokemon, and using it to solo through Kanto > Johto > Hoenn > Sinnoh in order.

For example: You choose Charmander for the challenge. You can only use one Charmander to get through Kanto. When you're finished, you may then start (and finish) Johto using one Charmander only, then to Hoenn & Sinnoh.... one Charmander only.

HM slaves would be fine, as well as allowing your solo pokemon to evolve.

I understand that there are some major drawbacks and obstacles to a challenge like this. You would certainly have to choose a starter that begins it's evolutionary line in Generation I, eliminating roughly 3/4ths of the options. Another drawback is that if you don't have someone to trade with, or another gameboy, you would definitely have cheat to obtain your solo pokemon.

The goal of a challenge like this is that it would be quite difficult, and it would take a fair bit of strategy to complete without cheating.

If there is little interest in this challenge, it can be tweaked in various ways, such as monotype solo challenge, using previous regions solo pokemon as a HM slave, or simply building your team by one at each region until you reach 4 at Sinnoh (Though, that makes it a little too easy.)

I'd love to hear everyone's opinion, so let me know what you think.

    The potential choices would be:

    Bulbasaur | Charmander | Squirtle | Caterpie | Weedle | Pidgey | Rattata | Spearow | Ekans | Pikachu

    Sandshrew | Nidoran (f) |Nidoran (m) | Clefairy | Vulpix | Jigglypuff | Zubat | Oddish | Paras | Venonat

    Diglett |Meowth | Psyduck | Mankey | Growlithe | Poliwag | Abra | Machop | Bellsprout | Tentacool

    Geodude | Ponyta | Slowpoke | Magnemite | Farfetch'd | Doduo | Seel | Grimer | Shellder | Gastly

    Onix | Drowzee | Krabby | Voltorb | Exeggcute | Cubone | Hitmonlee | Hitmonchan | Lickitung | Koffing

    Rhyhorn | Chansey | Tangela | Kangaskhan | Horsea | Goldeen | Staryu | Mr. Mime | Scyther | Jynx

    Electabuzz | Magmar | Pinsir | Tauros | Magikarp | Lapras | Ditto | Eevee | Porygon | Omanyte | Kabuto

    Aerodactyl | Snorlax | Dratini

I was fully aware when I posted this that anyone who wished to take part in the challenge would be forced to cheat or trade to obtain their pokemon in every game. As long as the cheating stops at obtaining a level 2-5 pokemon, I don't see the problem.... and you would only be trading one pokemon in any case.

A true challenge is not one that requires cheating,

How would you know what a true challenge equals? Cheating isn't required either... TRADING is required. Read properly next time.

Many people are unable to trade Pokemon between games, so for them to take part in the challenge, cheating would be required. You don't want to cheat? Then you need to trade.. Don't have all 4 generations? Go buy the ones you don't have. Those on emulators would just have to cheat, or not compete.

Beating all four games with only one Pokemon is a challenge, despite what you think... maybe you're just trying to sound wise? You only come off as condescending. Congratulations on that though.
