Nina's an important character, and without her, it would be your average shojou manga. Also, when she messes up, it adds good humor to the story. XD

umm well if maya was not there their would not be a big change.But a little yes.Now if kawamaka something did not exist it would not make the show funny at all.Thats my opinion.
