Um hey... your pants... they're ripped >>

If the tear is small and unnoticeable, I leave it alone. If its big, I either ask someone to sew it together for me, or I buy another pair of whatever it is.
 
if it's still wearable and not torn in a way that makes it "socially unacceptable" to wear pubicly, i'll leave it. once too torn to wear, i recycle the fabric for future use.
 
I usually get my dad to sew it up for me (thats right! my dad! mum hates sewing, but loves knitting and crochet) or my grandmother. Or I just leave it and only wear it at home. unless they're only small holes. If it gets really torn, I just tear it some more and then my dog gets more tug-o-war toys!
