Unfortunately with Umbreon, if its your last pokemon you end up flapping around with no attacking moves. People sometimes run Payback or Dark Pulse just for that reason alone, it 2HKO's Azelf and Gengar and other weak Psychics and ghosts. Curse and Taunt are also opions, Taunt is to stop Skarmory from Whilrwinding you away once you have trapped it, it has no other real use apart from that, so its up to you. Although you may want to put Toxic with mean look, however i wouldn't suggest it this gen due to Steel types being common.

Your EV spread is for the mixed tank or you can alternately Put 252 into HP and 252 into whichever defense you want Umbreon to be more adept at taking blows from. The remaining 6 points should go into whichever defensive stat didn't get the bulk of the EVs.



EDIT:Taunt isnt a waste of a move if you know how to properly use it, it takes prediction to work, its best on Gyarados and Tyranitar IMO so you can Dragon Dance up. However i see your point it may not benefit Umbreon.

I should put more EVs into SpDef shouldnt I? an Umbreon without big SpDef sounds really frail for a special waller, like the reason why Bliss needs the Def EVs is cause shes got super hax HP, Im not going to use Umbreon much anyways so might aswell go with what you suggested

Its up to you, Physical wall = Bold/Impish nature Nature 252 HP / 252 DEF / 6 SP.DEF. Special Wall = Careful/Calm Nature 252 HP / 252 SP.DEF / 6 DEF
