'Unable to trade!' error

    at the GTS in Diamond

    i searched for a snorlax to get and I found a trade partner. I selected the pokemon he wanted to swap for the trade and then at the bottom of the screen it tells me 'Unable to trade!'

    And i had perfect signal too.. whats the prob?

    Usually, that happens when the person you were trading with either:
    Took the pokemon off the GTS
    It was a hack (not sure on if you can actually see them)
    Somebody else traded for it

    this happens alot when the pokemon your trying to give is a hack.
    also it could be that the pokemon could not be traded in gts due to it being a special or event pokemon
