Well, this is what I use for HG. Usually, I just use these folks for E4 rematches for training any weaker Pokemon thatI need for the Pokedex.

    Here :

Typhlosion Lv. 74 Moves : Focus Blast, Flamethrower, Eruption, Shadow Claw @ Charcoal
    [PokeCommunity.com] Unidentified Battling Team

A Basic Typhlosion. Focus Blast (suggested by Fire Wolf) brings down any pesky Rocks and Eruption is just for for Power, Flamethrower for a quick kill. Shadow Claw because my team needed two guys able to defeat Ghosts. A Powerhouse, blah-blah ...

Pidgeot Lv. 72 Moves : Fly, Pluck, U-Turn, Mirror Move @ Muscle Band
    [PokeCommunity.com] Unidentified Battling Team

U-Turn for basic coverage and basic "running". Pluck for stealing those pesky Sitrus Berries which are a sickness. Mirror move for showing off something, mostly a filler move. Fly is basic, no explanation needed.
Muscle Band boosts ALL my moves and replaced the Sharp Beak he was holding.

Slowbro Lv. 72 Moves : Psychic, Surf, Shadow Ball, Flamethrower @ Wise Glasses
    [PokeCommunity.com] Unidentified Battling Team
Elusive and Sloooow wall and attacker Pokemon. Surf and Psychich are basic, Shadow Ball is to kick ass of the ghost types messing with me. Flamethrower (kudos Fire Wolf) is only for coverage. Wise Glasses is for boosting all my moves.

Ampharos Lv. 70 Moves : Discharge, Signal Beam, Power Gem, Thunder @ Magnet
    [PokeCommunity.com] Unidentified Battling Team
Basic. Lol, this is overused. Simple : Magnet for Discharge, Thunder for stuff which resist. Signal Beam to kill Dark Types and PPower Gem for coverage.

Mamoswine Lv. 71 Moves : E-Quake, Ice Fang, Ancient Power, Dig @ Quick Claw
    "image removed"
Simple Mamoswine. Quick Claw for hoping to kill Dragonites first. Ice FAng works better than Blizzard. Ancient Power is there since he evolved. Dig for double battles and going out of caves.

    [insert HM Slave/Exp. Sharer here]

Crticism is all welcome ! ~

Three fire moves is just baaaad. Replace Blast Burn because it's just bad. I don't know with what (xD) but Blast Burn is just bad.

    Otherwise, it's a pretty solid team. (b'-')b

Also, get Ice Shard back on Mamoswine so you don't need your Quick Claw.

Maybe Thunderpunch or Earthquake or even Focus Blast > Blast Bad on Typhlosion?

Ok, let's see what I can do ...
Getting Ice Shard back on Mamoswine is quite odd. The QUick Claw works almost all the time, with me being overlucky. I'm sure that Ice FAng > Ice Shard. Power > Accuracy for me.

Maybe Thunderpunch or Earthquake or even Focus Blast > Blast Bad on Typhlosion?

Focus Blast is a pretty good choice. Not o E-Quake since I don't need another physical move.

Also, don't forget this is the team I use to beat the E4 when I need to grind someone up for a PokeDex evo.

*Corrected some info : Deleted Blast Burn and added Focus Blast !*

Well, I'm pretty sure that Ice Shard has 100 accuracy so, why'd ya say Power > Accuracy? And anyway, Ice Fang only has 25 more power than Ice Shard, and Ice Shard comes with an assured chance of striking Dragonite first rather than depending on luck. On Dragonite, Ice Shard has a base power of 240 (with STAB and 4x super effectiveness on Dragonite), enough to kill Dragonite. With assured striking first, you can use NeverMeltIce or Icicle Plate > Quick Claw to boost the power of Ice Shard even more.

Also on Ampharos, I'd prefer Thunderbolt > Discharge for power. Power > Paralyzing imo. Focus Blast > Thunder as well as Thunderbolt is a good STAB. Focus Blast gives you more coverage. If you really want to use Thunder as it has raw power, use Rain Dance > Thunderbolt/Discharge but that can reduce the power of Typhlosion's STABs.

I'd use Ice Beam or even Slack Off on Slowbro over Headbutt, Slowbro has a bad base atk stat and Headbutt doesnt have great base power. If you can't get Ice Beam or Slack Off, I'd prefer even Return or Earthquake or Calm Mind or heck even Flamethrower (yeah Slowbro gets Flamethrower) over Headbutt. Headbutt is a bad attack.

    Hmmm ... *Heart Scales*
My Thunderbolt TM went to a Jolteon so there is practically no way to teach him but through breeding (cross ?). Flamethrower sounds cool, and I might get it to defeat something like a Tangrowth in my way ?

Thanks, Fire Wolf. I just need to make the adjustments and I'll replace everything is needed. Also, Thunder is quite filler, but it helped in some situations even w/o Rain Dance.
    You've been a great help ! :)

EDIT : Actually, the Heart Scaler has no Ice Shard in its moveset. I recall my Piloswine having tis' move, but why doesn't Mamoswine learn it ? Mediocre .. T_T

You can buy a Thunderbolt TM from the Goldenrod Game Corner or Cerulean Cave. If you've got the Cerulean Cave one, buy it from Goldenrod or get it from Cerulean Cave.

Oh, Mamoswine doesn't have Ice Shard in his level up moveset, sorry for suggesting that. You'll have to breed for it and get a Swinub, train it all the way and then have it learn Ice Shard. Ice Fang is fine if you can't get Ice Shard.

As Mirror Move is a terrible move, use Return (if you have the TM), Quick Attack or even Steel Wing.

Also, you spelt criticism as cricism in the first post lol.

Let's start with Typhlosion, shall we?

    Typhlosion
Personally, I hate Pokemon with a full assualt Move-Set, but I know well enough that Fire-Types have a very limited moveset. So here's something I cooked up.

    FlameThrower
    FocusBlast
    ShadowClaw/ExtraSensory
    Roar/Attract

Well, that's my choice when it comes to Typhlosion. First off, I recommend ExtraSensory due to Typhlosion usually have higher Sp.Attack rather than base Attack.
And I would use Attract, as it limits the opponents chance of attacking to 50%, although it doesn't work against Pokemon of the same Gender.

    Pidgeot
Flying-Type Pokemon can be a great asset, usually finding away into peoples teams. They also learn some useful moves.

    Fly
    Roost
    MirrorMove/SecretPower
    FeatherDance/SteelWing

Fly for obvious reasons. But it also works as an effective battling move despite many peoples thoughts. Roost heals the user by half and removes its Flying-Type affinity for a couple of turns, which can be used against Electric and Ice-Types to remove the weakness. Mirror-Move can be risky, but so can SecretPower, so I recommend testing which Type it becomes and make a choice from that. SteelWing seems to fit well with a Flying-Type Pokemon, but if you prefer to lower the foe's stats (And by looking at you Typhlosions moveset, I guess you don't) you could use FeatherDance to lower the opponents Attack dramatically.

    Ampharos

Ever loved but over-used. Ampharos can be a fantastic Electric-Type. Not much else to say here, huh?

    ThunderWave/Attract
    ThunderPunch/Bolt
    PowerGem
    BrickBreak/FocusBlast

Choosing ThunderWave or Attract really depends on whether you gave Typhlosion Attract or not. If Ampharos's Attack stat is higher, then have it learn ThunderPunch and BrickBreak. But if Sp.Attack is higher then teach it ThunderBolt and FocusBlast. And finally PowerGem for (As you said) coverage.

    SlowBro

Personally I prefer SlowKing, but I guess it doesn't matter...

    Surf
    Psychic
    CalmMind/DreamEater
    Yawn

Your SlowBro already has Surf and Pyschic, so that's accounted for. Yawn works great, even if it has a delayed effect time. Then, if you teach it Yawn, you can couple it up with DreamEater to heal it, but ClamMind works good once the foe is asleep as you can unleash hell with powered up Surfs and Psychic.

    Mamoswine

Mamoswine has been an invaluble member of my Fossil team. So this is its current moveset. Woot...

    EarthQuake
    IceBeam/Avalanche
    Roar/Hail
    Dig

EarthQuake for obvious reasons. Then either IceBeam, which is the more reliable, or Avalanche, as Mamoswine has the highest attack of all Ice-Types, it becomes the most powerful Ice-Type move possible (Assuming it has been hit on the same turn). Hail works well as Mamoswines ability raises its evasiveness in hail, but Roar is fine too. Then Dig for accurate Ground damage and escaping dungeons.

And your final spot. I recommend a Grass-Type as you lack one. Maybe Victreebel, or Vileplume. Doesn't really matter. They both have simaliar movesets and stats, as they work as an opposing pair.

    Hope this helps :D

I know that Sp. Atk. > Atk. on Typh', but I taught it to him when he was still a Quilava and it had them both almost identical. Uhhh ... how do I teach him ExtraSensory ? T_T

I'm quite sure Pidgeot knew Roost but I deleted it ! *checks* I did !
Damn, how do I get it again ? I think you mean Hidden, not Secret.

Ampharos is good. T-Bolt, I have no acces to it. Just stick to Discharge. I'd prefer Signal Beam for a better accuracy move.

Lol, I thought That Slowbro > Slowking but I was proved wrong. I really saddened for that. I'd re-teach him Yamn and Calm Mind, I prefer Hell over Eating.

I can use Avalanche, but Ice Fang is still more powerful. I'd prefer Roar over hail, just for emergencies.

    You've been a great help too ! :D
