Try it out before you complain:

Smergle@ lefties
~Cosmic Power
~Magic Coat
~Snatch/Taunt
~Toxic

Send status back. Snatch/Taunt the recovery and Toxic the rest.

steels and poisons beat it but, you can PP drain them. consider WoW if you are really paranoid. Fires beat you then but, they are rarely used

EDIT: Admant Mences ATk worth of posts

I forgot what magic coat does, can someone remind me? Looks good, i might as well try it, dunno when that might be, but i will.

Bounces back stuff like Thunder Wave and Toxic in the same fashion as Counter and Mirror Coat.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, ok i get it now. all right its all kool.what evs are u planning? the same ones as the other sets?

=/

Evs are hard for the set

I think I'll use max SpDef and HP and Calm nature and send it out against something slow and special attack using. It will rely on its SpDef to save its and set up

Smeargle won't last long that way husk, since you send him in on a Special Attack, then he cops another one when he tries to CP, I think he needs to have been setup before coming in, with defences already in place.

Until Skarmory comes up and Whirls you away.

They are getting a little out of hand over in the Staff Feedback Thread I think..

Perhaps, you could use Reflect and Light Screen in order to bring Smeargle in safely and to start CPing?

I think it'd do the trick without resorting to a whole BP team :P

yea after a couple a CP's I'd be set

I need a recovery move, snatch isn't cutting it

recover> snatch

but, then the Swords Dance 3 times on you and K.O. you

Hm.. how well is Magic Coat working?

Since maybe Recover could go over that, or perhaps Whirlwind could fit in somewhere, to get rid of stat uppers, you stat up, they stat up, you Whirl and you have a free stat up really?

CP/Whirlwind/Toxic/Protect or Magic Coat :P

Protect for that extra waste a turn while they hurt from Toxic feeling.

softboiled/recover over protect and I believe the set would work

Cosmic Power/Whirlwind/Toxic/Recover...

It seems like a pretty good set to me, poisons and steels, and immunity ruin it, but I think that by Whirling them away, and using some prediction, inflicting Toxic onto as many of the opponents party as possible could be a a pretty neat advantage.

Combine this with some kind of staller, to delay while Toxic does it's job, and I think we are onto something.

You could also chuck in a pokemon specifically built to take care of things that resist, I'm thinking Blaziken (Brick Break/Flamethrower/Psychic (Or HP Psychic)/filler), and I think we could actually create a team set around this :P

Psychic (I can't check if he learns it, so that or HP Psychic) is there because of Weezing, who can't be Quaked.

dusclops:mean look, rest, w-o-w, swagger.
swagger only hurts them, rest heals u, they cant switch and die to w-o-w

smeargle:@salac spore, belly drum, sub, flail.

Hey Kirbs, did you check out the new Smeargle Thread I made? Not to steal LHs Threads limelight, but for the myriad of Smeargles that were inevitabley going to appear here. :)

not my set, just someone elses who used it on me. I didn't get to see all the moves but, I decided to improvise and improve on it Bold are my suggestions.

Hercross@ Choice Band
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Atk, 6 SpDef
Brave (+Atk,-Spd)
~Sleep Talk
~ Focus Punch
~ Mega Horn
~ Eq/ HP: Ghost/ HP: Rock
switch into a sleeper. Then sleep talk.

Your choices are:

Focus Punch: Being slow has its advantages. Since you sleep talk after your opponent has already gone you tighten your focus after they attack so you freely focus punch. Instant 225 (with STAB) base power Attack coming off a 766 Atk hurts.

Megahorn: STAB 180 base power attack coming from 766 Atk. Pretty simple.

Filler: Hits stuff hard that you normally can't with your... did I mention 766 Atk...

True

but, I still think its a decent CB'er even when it isn't sleeping

it lacks a fourth move though =(

have reversal/flail, if u r going last u will probably be getting hit, so sleep talk when u predict sleep, reversal when u predict being hit, or just things like sandstorm giving it power, and focus when u predict an indirect attack, or megahorn when u see celebi or just are at high life and know u will get hit... (this is probably the best possible for your theory b/c it goes with every category since u will either be spored, hit, indirectly attacked, or attack first at higher life)

I have a similar Heracross on one of my teams :D

Along the lines of Kirby's Dusclops WowTrapper, comes this:

Umbreon (M) @ Leftovers
Trait: Synchronize
EVs: 140 HP / 176 Def / 192 SDef
Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
- Mean Look
- Toxic
- Moonlight
- Baton Pass
Mean Look, Toxic, Moonlight :P
Baton Pass, if you comes across something immune to Toxic though.
