UNlucky Pokemon?

    I've been racking my brain, but I have no recollection of an unlucky Pokemon. Absol does not count, as it does not make the disasters. But is there an unlucky Pokemon at all?

    People have suggested:
    Absol, but it actually WARNS you,
    Murkrow, the bearer of ill fortune,
    Ninetales, with its thousand-year curse,
    Houndoom, as it is the "grim reaper",
    Dusclops and Shedinja, for stealing your soul,
    P'raps Giratina,
    Missingno, even though it is not a real Pokemon,
    And any Pokemon that can asplode.

    I always thought if a cat walks passes you, its bad luck, so glameow and meowth maybe. lol :D
     
    mm I think that has to do with black cats, so maybe Umbreon.
    However, it was never mentioned that Umbreons are bad luck, so that whole cat theory isn't valid.

    Absol, Murkrow, and...uh, Arceus. If you angered that thing, you probably wouldn't live to tell the tale.
    I think Umbreon has to do something with bad luck as well, but I'm not sure.
     
    If you touch the tail of a Ninetales, you will be cursed with bad luck for all
    eternity. Houndoom is the "grim reaper" Pokemon. I would presume that
    Dusclops is bad luck too, provided it sucks your soul into its body during
    nighttime. Maybe Giratina.

    There are alot of good luck Pokemon, though, like Snorunt and Quagsire.

    Edit: I read the Pokedex and it said that Kadabra brings bad luck if
    you watch a TV while one is nearby.

    Falling star, you should make a list in the first post that includes all the pokemon that are already mentioned, especially the ones by Gymnotide.

    I think that Ninetales one is from Mystery Dungeon right?

    I think it was in the Dex entry too (at least in my Green version).
    Something about a thousand year curse （千年の祟り）.
     
    A thousand years eh? Sounds awful, but who would live a thousand years?
    Maybe the curse stays with the whole family? Creepy...

    Yup, thousand year curses (at least in Japanese folklore) usually lasts a full thousand years, and is passed on from generation to generation.

    Don't annoy Ninetales lol.
     
    Um, I think being sprayed by a Skutank (Or is what its called?) is bad luck. Who would like to stink all day?

    I agree that the fact that Ninetails is bad luck, but I do recall the pokedex saying that Mismagius can chant a speel that can bring you bad luck, or possible good luck.

    Mismagius is not so much good-luck-bad-luck, but messes with your dreams.

    If you consider having your soul taken away, then alot of the Ghost-type
    Pokemon can help you there, especially Shedinja.
     
    fainting a ditto is bad luck, it's like breaking a mirror
