Dude. This. game. made. my. life.

Okay, so maybe it's too extreme to say that.. but it was like another ,dnxndlfnlxfnlsgnlsz moment for me. The ending was.. okay and pretty sad. Sorry, but I was never really a Midna fan. *waits to get beat up* Buuut, yeah. Loved the game to pieces. <3 I don't have a Wii and I didn't buy the Gamecube version, but my friend did let me borrow it so I beat his game. XD;

I can't wait to get a Wii and get it though. I feel.. so far behind. XD

October 1st for North Americans. ^_^

Do any of you plan on actually
buying Phantom Hourglass. Anyway, Phantom
Hourglass FTW!!!!!

-ChronicNightmare-
Hmmp my 200th post!!!!

I stay with TP. Phantom Hourglass looks good because of the DS capabilities but the childish graphics really make me avoid it. I just can't realize why do they make things like that. TP graphics attracts children, too, doesn't it?

Another thing. I heard a long time ago that Twilight Princess was going to be the last Zelda title of its kind. Now Zelda games would be totally different, and I believe there was a Wii Zelda Game announced too. What kind of game would it be? And why would they change the gameplay we all love?

where'd you hear that from?
It's probably not true.
It better not be.
I love the TP OoC and MM style games.

I'm pretty sure Nintendo wouldn't do that to the Zelda series.

If another Wii Zelda game comes out, I want it to have a dark, suspenseful tone like Majora's Mask. That game's awesome.

I do not prefer one style over the other. I think one works better for certain games than other is helping to portray a mood. But, one is not more childish than another. TWW is a work of art, visually. To the extent that in the emulation world, great effort has been made to give OoT a cel-shaded look. And...surprisingly, it works very well.

I think cel-shaded works better for child Link games only to help with the childlike innocence, but the style can become dark and menacing at times.

Anyway, yes. I do think it is time for Zelda to evolve. In 10 years it hasn't changed. The leap to OoT was revolutionary. All games since have been evolutionary. Especially since we're sitting on various new methods of input, it is time to once again redefine the series and genre.

The series has to modernize. Orchestrated music, higher production values, maybe voices (honestly doesn't care about them), greater character development, etc. All in all, the games are great, but they are showing they're age. Its time to update.

I agree.
Though, I'm hoping they don't make link talk.
IT'd seem.. awkward if he did.

I like Mojora's Mask but isn't that the one where lots of people die in one day?

The Twilight Princess is my favorite Zelda game.
I've got everything! The Minsh cap is my second.

(Contact me for tips)

In Majora's Mask, the citizens of Clock Town (not Termina) are threatened by a falling moon. They seek refuge in the surrounding areas (Romani Ranch for example). If they stay then its their fault. :p But yes, everyone dies in Majora's Mask if you let the three-day cycle run out. I don't think you see anything aside from the moon fall, but its probably implied that those who remained perished.

i'm about to go to the icy mountain thing, just beat the spinner boss, i've got almost all of the bugs and stuff.

and does your account really get locked? thats really annoying.

Ok, wow. I can tell this thread is old, but I really cannot find anywhere else to help me out here.

I am really bad at playing these games, but I love them to death.

But I do need a little help if possible.

I am in the first dungeon, I haven't gotten the boomerang yet, but working towards my..I think 4th monkey friend there. I have used those exploding bug things to destroy those man eating plants, and the boulder, but now I find myself in a room where the tiles can pop me in the air from under me.

Basically, I am out of Light. Slingshot Ammo. and down to about....3 hearts [haha. thats what I have in all my bad.] so what I am asking is...what can I do?
