Unpopular opinions

I hate Lucario and Greninja and I don't understand the hype/love for them. They're both terrible designs, they're both nothing special and yet they both receive an insane amount of unwarranted fan service. Lucario got its own movie for some reason despite not being legendary, and Greninja got some weird anime-reference in-game version.

Gen 5 is the worst of the lot. There are some awful designs, a lot of the names are bad, and the compressed pixelated look of the sprites in battle is amateurish and laughable.

Pokémon that are just clones of Gen 1 Pokémon

- Munna/Musharna = Drozee/Hypno
- Roggenrola/Boldore/Gigalith = Geodude/Graveler/Golem
- Woobat/Swoobat = Zubat/Golbat
Drilbur/Excadrill = Diglett/Dugtrio
- Audino = Chansey
- Timburr/Gurdurr/Conkeldurr = Machop/Machoke/Machamp
- Tympole/Palpitoad/Seismitoad = Poliwag/Poliwhirl/Poliwrath

Amoonguss (I get the joke, it's just not funny and doesn't work as a name)
Eelektrik (Just the word electric)
Beartic (No good way to say this one, just sounds stupid to say. Another example of a cool Pokémon ruined by a crap name)
Heatmor (Sounds like a cooking instruction)
Deino (Is it pronounced Die-no or Dee-no? Either way it sucks)

Pokémon with apocalyptically bad designs

Pignite and Emboar (They can't resist making things bipedal!)
Timburr, Gurdurr and Conkeldurr
Throh and Sawk (They're wearing clothes, man!)
Trubbish and Garbodor
Gothita, Gothorita and Gothitelle (INFINITY VOMITING EMOJIS)
Solosis, Duosion and Reuniclus (.....wtf)
Mienfoo and Mienshao (Creepy)
Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus (Weird muscle-bound strongmen with tails. That can fly)

And that about it covers it.

It's pronounced Die-no. That's because the entire evolutionary line takes after the German words for one, two and three (eins, zwei and drei respectively).
