Unreleased Pokemon

    The last 11 years in which Pokemon exist, 493 characters have taken place. However, as a matter of fact, not all of the creatures that were created made it to the surface. Some of them were just changed, while others simply disappeared. There are some Pokemon that never appeared in any Game, Anime or other Pokemon Media. From the looks of it, such monsters existed until the third generation. Unfortunately, the ones that are known are limited.

    In this topic those unknown Pokemon can be presented and discussed. In case any of you find out more of them, it would be great to post all known information about them.

    The current known ones can be shown in the equivalent article of Bulbapedia, "Unreleased Pokémon".

    I can recall having seen more of them, mainly from the 3rd Generation, like a beta form of Zigzagoon and probably Sharpedo. I might check my backups later and show the pictures I have.

    I don't think Nintendo or Pokemon has any intentions on making these reall pokemon. But thats just my opinion.

    I remember Happa! And Kurusu! I also remember seeing that female trainer once before, too.

    I don't know where I read this, but I heard that MissingNo. (or at least the ghost form of it) was the first Pokemon ever made, to represent them all, but then got scrapped when the rest were made. I've been trying to find that source again for a while ^^;

    Bleh, some of it is fake. >_>

    I've seen some of those Japanese magazines with the outline of a Pokemon (silhouette, if that's spelled right), and people filled in what they thought they'd look like. Have you noticed that some of the shapes are similar to other Pokemon?

    Nice! Wonder why they haven't been released? I guess they just decided to make them better... O.o Aww the red one, Honōguma, is so cuute ^^

    Those couple of pokemon are art designs. When making around 135 new kinds of creatures for pokemon they emply like a group of 10-20 artists to comeup with ideas. Specially since they already made all the pokemon fromt he comic and concept from Satoshi Tajiri.

    Art designs on any design team get looked at for any possible ideas, hence why some look like Pikachu to capitalize of that image, and then why some look like more than one pokemon.

    We most likely won't ever see those pokemon in the games, they've probably been archived and or scrapped. I used to be on an art team, we had to make many ideas, and only 5 were taken. We made 35. I saved mine, and used them personally in other ideas. But the others got thrown.

    Although Kurusu as like a Dragon or Normal type of some uber dragon type. Would be kinda cute.

    Not saying they won't ever showup as a possible, but highly unlikely. Specially ones who look like Pikachu, Nintendo and Gamefreak got ragged on hard for over using Pikachu's image. So they want to stay away from it to a degree. I mean We got Plusle, Minun, Pichu, Marril, Azumarril, Azurill and then a bunch of games only about Pikachu. Can't blame them, i'd playout a paycheck as well. lol. But because they did, they needed to make new pikachu types, like Pachirisu. Same thing as Pikachu, new look. New attitude if you watch the show, seems like Daffy Duck actually. LOL.

    It is really Interesting, but they Improved it in the 3rd gen though, you know like th Unnamed turtle..

    I heard something about beta bird Pokemon named Yoroidori.

    I heard it was similar to Airmed (Skarmory). But I didn't find any pictures of it.
