I didn't see a thread like this anywhere in the Games section (I'm sure there's been a few though), so I thought I'd start one here. Basically this is a thread where people can post ideas on what could be in future Pokemon games (after Diamond and Pearl, since they're set in stone already). Any ideas, from story changes to game mechanics can be posted here.

One thing I'd like to see is Pokemon-oriented subquests, where you send a small Pokemon through an air duct, or a hole that is too tiny for the Trainer to fit. The perspective would be that of the Pokemon and you would be able to interact with the objects and other Pokemon as said creature. You might even be able to understand the other Pokemon.

Anyway, what would you like to see in future Pokemon games?

Maybe you could control your pokemon and fly or ride on them in an advanced 3d world.

When You Battle, There Could Be 3D Arena With Trees And Stuff And You Can Control Your Pokemon And Go Behind Stones To Block Attacks Or Ambush Feo From Tree/Water/Sky. When You Press A,B,L Or R, Pokemon Will Launch An Attack.

A Real-time action, Pokemon adventure game. Or maybe a tactics battle system for an upcoming game.

Yeah, how about instead of getting into a battle screen, you actually see Pokemon running around on the screen or hiding behind trees and stuff. If you wanted to battle them (or they started attacking you) you just whip out the pokeball of your choice, instead of just the first one on your list thing. Like as if you were really there. And maybe, even if the pokemon faint, you can still catch 'em! I mean, wouldn't they be easier to catch if they were unconscious on the ground? Come on! Ooh! And instead of just flying to towns, you could fly to anywhere you wanted to go. Like, including Routes and stuff. :) And maybe the battlefield could have some effects too. Like you could hide behind rocks and stuff.
