The Discord team, in cooperation with some representatives of the GT team, have decided it'd be better suited for this year's Get Together to organise and host its own discord server. The implementation of Houses and their respective Discord channels would add too much to an already long list of channels on the main server. A separate discord server will also give more control to those in charge to organize everything the way they see fit. (in regards to channels, mod powers for event organizers, etc)
The main server will be advertising the GT's server for the entirety of the event in the #server-info channel. With proper exposure on PC (via threads, forum splash, etc) I'm sure it'll grow fairly quickly and be populated with active participants in the GT. Maybe even add a link to the House's discord channel at the end of each sorting quiz.
If anyone has any questions or concerns, please post them below!
