4th Gen update gym leaders

I was just wondering if anyone felt the way me and a friend of mine thought that the gym leaders along with the elite four were too much of a pushover... and when i recently picked up soulsilver i was kinda hoping they would make it more interesting like the original red,blue, and yellow

TBH most Pokemon games' gym leaders aren't too hard for me, because I train and tend to have a balanced team. Taking them on with say a monotype team that has a disadvantage tends to make it more challenging though! =p
