In generations V and VI, the Pokemon League was much different than those of all previous generations. Instead of the Elite Four rooms being back to back with each member being stronger than the last, there was a center room with the Elite Four rooms extending off of it. This gave you the ability to choose which order to fight them in, and contributed to the difficulty because they were all equally challenging level-wise.
However, this is the first time we've gotten a remake since this change took place. Does this mean that they will update Hoenn's Pokemon League to fit in with Unova's and Kalos's? Or do they want to keep the same feel of the Elite Four from generation III? Along with this major change, the Elite Four was also allowed only four pokemon each, so do you think they will restrict Hoenn's to this number as well?
Personally, I dislike the new Pokemon Leagues because, as I mentioned above, they're part of the reason why they're too easy. I remember struggling with Kanto and Hoenn's Elite Fours during generation III because I had to face them predetermined orders, and looking back, that was one of the most memorable things about those games. So obviously, I don't want them to touch the Elite Four at all (besides swapping Wallace out for Steven, ugh). The last time I had a real challenge with the Pokemon League was when I played HeartGold for the first time and fought Lance, so I'd love to relive that in OR/AS, along with the nostalgia.
