2nd Gen Upgrading my Feraligatr

    Lets face it, there's better out there than this water pokemon. Im trying to find a better water type than him. I narrowed it down to these couple pokemon.

    1. Kingler
    2. Golduck
    3. Slowbro/Slowking
    4. Lapras
    5. Starmie

    Which are the best 3 out of these 5?
     
    Starmie.

    After that, depends what you're looking for. Defense = slowbro. Lapras is cool.
     
    I was thinking Kingler because I just caught a Krabby and he does have a better attack, defense, and hp than Feraligator. His speed is pretty close too
     
    I would prefer using slowking, starmie, or lapras and are better water pokemon than feraligatr.

    That all means nothing if they don't have the attacks to back it up, which Krabby doesn't until DP when the Physical water attacks finally work out in his favor.
     
    Kingler, Starmie and Slowbro.

    Slowbro makes a great tank.
    Kingler is just ownage, w.\ Crabhammer, etc.
    Starmie is without a doubt the best though, great sweeper... Thunderbolt, Psychic, Hydro Pump, Rain Dance - ELITE OWNAGE.

    Definently Starmie, bro.
     
    I chose Kingler. I had no idea how powerful Vicegrip was...
     
    I'd choose Starmie, as it has so much in the way of variety for moves. Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Psychic, Surf, Recover etc... Kingler doesn't have enough physical attacks to back up its good attack stat, which is unfortunate. Golduck, Lapras and Slowbro are all useful, but Starmie is probably the best water type on the game barring Suicune.
     
    I'd be pretty tempted to go for Kingler

    But then again... Starmie's fairly awesome with it's massive selection of moves.
