Sorry, I'm new to this forum and in a huge rush to get some answers about my decklist. We're currently out in a position where we could buy one of the legendary dog tins, and I'm stuck between the decision of Suicune and Raikou, because I'm thinking of a water and electric type deck. I currently have an Empoleon, a Prinplup and three Piplups, and two Eevee's and a Glaceon and Jolteon, but I only have four Electrikes and two Pikachus. I don't think the Suicunes included with the tin is that strong, and since I already have a Empoleon, I doubt I'll need it anyway. Do you think I should get the Raikou instead? And is an Electric and Water deck suitable? All my cards are from the Polar Frost theme deck, by the way. I lost a few cards along the way which is why I have only one Prinplup and no Manectric. Thanks!

Wait, are you trying to use this deck in official tournaments? Because, in that case, one of the Suicune/Raikou you get in the tins for them will be from a set that isn't play legal any more anyways (it will be the one with the swirly set symbol in the right-hand corner of the card). Go for whichever one fits your strategy best.

I honestly don't think there is a huge difference between the two. Raikou does 70 but only every other turn, suicune only does 50 but every turn and you might disallow the defending pokemon from attacking. If you already have a lot of water pokemon in your electric/water deck, then go with the raikou. You can get around the effect of not being able to attack every turn by returning it to the bench via warp energy, switch, warp point, or something similar, and then retreating the pokemon you warp into back to raikou.
