USB Memory Stick Survives One and One - Half Days in a Parking Lot

    I recently dropped my SanDisk Cruzer USB stick in a parking lot. I didn't realize I did this until later in the day after I got home. I wasn't able to get back to the parking lot for One and One - Half days. Over the intervening time it rained heavily. When I go home and tested to see if it worked it was fine! What are the odds of that happening?
     
    Apparently pretty high.

    I've had similar luck with Game Boys.

    My Game Boy Color survived my grandmother's house fire, despite other things in the room being melted, and my little brother's GBC survived 3 days submerged in about a foot of water.

    As far as I know, both still work to this day.
     
    i had a GB game survive several trips to the washing machine and the dryer.
