USB Port Problem??

    I hope this is the right spot for this, but any ways, I have a multi port usb thing with 4 ports on it, I have my mouse in 1 port and it works fine, I plug in a usb that comes from my cell phone to it and is say unrecognized, and when I go to trouble shoot it, it disconnects itself from it and won't do a test, any suggestions??

    Its not your computer its your mobile phone, your usb ports will be fine your phone might be unrecognised because you don't stop the usb before you take it out of your pc or you have bad usb cable.
