Tbh, if we can do that, then having mods would be kind of pointless imo. Sure, mods would have more options, but, that's just it.

We do a lot more than change titles...

But like I said, only in the ROM Hacking and Game Dev sections, so hopefully it wouldn't be too much. :P
There's already an approval system in those sections for threads, it would be way too much to deal with if they'd add this to it too. Besides, I'm pretty sure it would still flood because those sections are pretty active.

Just VM a staff member... everything gets changed in a few hours. How impatient must one person be.

I agree with this. No thread title is probably THAT urgent to where it needs immediate attention. And for trade threads with giveaway days, you don't need to be changing your thread title everyday for every giveaway or something. If you have a giveaway on a certain day, just ask for a mod to change the title to something like "Syd's Trade Thread! Giveaways every Tuesday!" or whatever.

How about instead of mods needing to approve them, they just get a notification. Like: "chrunch has changed the name of his thread ___ to ___"
I don't care if someone changed their thread title. It'd just a setup of disappointment for when you see you have 400 notifications and they're all thread title changes.

Well I HATE WAITINGGGGG

Yeah, but mods aren't on 24/7 and such. It's alright though, so could someone close/delete this?
Mods may not be on 24/7, but there's bound to be at least one higher staff member on mostly all hours of the day. Ask one of them.
