[Question] Using official music in games

Hi, I'm trying to figure out some of the music I will use in my game. I see that many games tend to use music remixes in their soundtrack instead of official music. Is it advised to avoid using music from the official Pokémon games for some reason or is it just that people find the remixes more appealing in general? Also should I avoid using music from other games like smash and Pokémon masters?

Yes, its is very much okay to use them in fangames. Stuff like Glitchxcity's are used a lot and it's fine with her as long as you credit.
