Using only colorless Pokemon

There are a few decks you can build that have success using just colorless pokemon. Nothing top tier of course. A deck I''ve built with just Colorless pokemon is

Togekiss/Lugia
Basically the strategy is to use togekiss as a wall while powering up lugia. Since it protects your pokemon from catcher, hypnotoxic, escape rope, crushing and Enhanced hammer.

Togekiss' attack, return. Does 30 damage for 2 energy and also allows you to draw until you have 6 cards in hand. This allows for much easier set up on lugia, since each turn you get a weaker version of tropical beach.

Aspertia City gym also gives both pokemon 20 more hp.

Digging into previous formats, there were decks that centered around Salamence Lv. X and a Flygon from a DPPt era set that were absolutely brilliant cards, and those two were actually of the Colorless type. Though those worked best with other types of Pokemon in them, since Salamence LV X's energy requirements were heavy on the Water and Fire type energy, and that particular Flygon had a PokeBody called "Rainbow Float" that made a Pokemon that shared a type with a Basic Energy attached to Flygon have a retreat cost of 0.

It's certainly possible to go full colorless, it's just usually not an optimum route, depending on what's in the deck and what it has to compete with.
