using windows on my hardrive

    IS there anyway i can boot an OS, which will probably be media centre from my external hardrive and then switch back to the OS my pc is currently using.
     
    You could essentially use VMWare or something similar. But it'd take a fair chunk of RAM.
     
    Do you mean switch back without restarting the computer?
