We are on the edge of a Monarch/Chain Burn/Gagdet based format. The goal is to create a deck that can successfully defeat all three of those decks... Taking a page out of the ChainBurn Deck by Project D this deck runs almost monsters. I added the two Des Lacoodas as a way to gain protection once I have the lock set up. Ojama Trio-Rilvary of Warlords locks the opponent into only Beast type monsters. When was the last time you say a Monarch/Chain Burn/Gagdet deck running a Beast? The stall serves two purposes. A.) Early game Heavy/MST/Breaker bait. I will sacrifice stall on turn one to get a piece of S/T removal out of the game. For example opening with just a Level Limit. B.) Stall into I can set up the lock well enough to go and play the cards needed.... My friend ran something like this at a Regional some time ago and found once they began to summon monsters he could not lock him into Beasts. Which could be a problem. If you dont open with Ojama Trio and Rilvary the opponent may swarm with to many monsters to stop... So that is why I am running Smashing and Hammer Shot. They serve two purposes... A.) Remove cards on the opponents field to lock in Ojama Token... B.) Destroy side decked Des Wombat.... Wombat is a killer. He is a beast and is LV. 3. So he gets around a lot of the stall. He also is a new side deck staple.

Oh well... he can he handled. Any way

This deck should prefer well vs. Gagdets since the Gagdets will be stuck with 15 or so 1-4-1 Monster Removal cards... to kill my two monsters.

This deck should prefer well vs. Monarchs since they dont run any beasts and start slow with sets. So if I can open well and lock them up early they wont get around it. Also Mobius is found more in the side than anything.

Chain Burn is the biggest problem.. the best I could do is side 3x Wombat. But this deck will have trouble vs. Chain Burn

Finally to combat side decked Mobius I side deck 3 Flipping the Mat. I have the text down there VvVvVvVvV... Also counters Breaker (I would assume a spell-counter is an effect therefore triggering Flipping the Mat's effect, I may be wrong).

Nyah, just wondering...but, if you're primarily relying on Wave-Motion Cannon to dish out damage, wouldn't a couple of Magic Deflectors be in order to keep them on the field? Also, with such a heavily burn-oriented deck, isn't Dust Tornado kind of redundant? I mean, three copies of Solem Judgement should be enough to keep Pikeru's Circle of Enchantment and other random burn blockers out of your face. Also, no Neko Mane King or Unhappy Maiden? I think those would make more sense in a stall-oriented deck than Des Lacooda (as you wouldn't want to run out of cards before your opponent, no you wouldn't)

Meh, just my subjective opinions, though.

Des Lacooda is used when stall is formed to gain 2 things

A.) Pieces to protect Rilavry of Warlords
    B) LPs with Solemn Wishes

No other monsters are needed. Side Decked Tornados are for Macro and D Fissure since WMC wont go off with them... or i side out the WMC for Stealth Birds

Either way I got Macro under control

Never been fond of the Rivalry of Warlord/Ojama lock, because I'm personally not thrilled on those ideas that rely on a race yet can't win instantly (Exodia, dedicated Game Overdragon, Five Headed Dragon). It's just horrible if luck is against you and that they got monsters on the field before you draw those 2 trap cards... Not to mention how Rivalry of Warlord's usability is limited without the Ojama Trio. So, I'll skip out on that part of the engine.

I don't see any reason to the Solemn Wishes though... Yes I know that you get even more LP with Des Lacooda, but still. It's clogging up your backrow even more, and LP gain is only denying the inevitable when you're losing. When you're winning, you simply don't need it (Solemn Judgment will cost half no matter how much you have anyway, so doesn't matter.) Why not switch those 3 out for 3 Secret Barrel? You got the tokens all setup anyway, and if the lock did succeed as much as you described, then the opponent's hand must be perfectly clogged up for Secret Barrel's potentially high damage output.

I think Dust Tornado is not that reliable for taking out Royal Decree (FAR more threatening than RFG-deck) as everyone is pinpointing Royal Decree as the anti-Gadget solution, or at least a part of it. If you're against Anti-gadget, then there will be 2 main decked, and Jinzo/3rd royal decree int he side. Jinzo is taken careful by spells, but relying on a trap to destroy an anti-trap is again just a race... If he get it off first before you, then you're only hoping for the ONE MST to take care of the decree...

I'll put the Heavy Storm and Breaker in the sidedeck nevertheless at the cost of one messenger of peace and one dust tornado. If Decree is out already, and is clogging your trap-infested deck, you are better off to destroy it at all cost with Heavy Storm, then reset the mechanism. As for breaker, one more monster from 2 to 3 can't hurt you THAT badly.

You may need more monsters. >_<

    Stealth Bird or Morphing Jar?

I don't think he does... if the Ojama/Warlord combo works, then technically even the Des Lacooda aren't necessary. If it doesn't work, then he'll need to scrap the entire deck. I'll personally add morphing jar as well (until STON is out, then I'll hide morphing jar for awhile to see how hyped Dark World gets when the new Dark World cards come out.)

    True......

But at least one more monster could be useful such as Morphing Jar as you agreed with. Or Nimble Monongara.
