Aerodactyl is OU. This team is UU, but I agree, Steelix hasn't done much as a lead.
I like the Slowking set but no, I don't want to copy smogon more.
Will do about Manectric.

So the main thing that's crippled me was Mismagius. I'll replace Steelix with a different lead and see what happens then.

I'm concerned about Poliwrath. Why is it Naughty (+Atk, -SDef) when it should be Adamant (+Atk, -SAtk)? You can just max HP and Attack and put the rest in Speed (Poliwrath's Speed isn't that good, to be honest). As for the moves: I like the Hypnosis + Focus Punch combo, but I think it's risky because of Hypnosis' low accuracy (keep it, though). Also, why Earthquake, when you can just use STAB Waterfall (which outdamages it)?

STEELIX

Even if you aren't going to use Steelix anymore, there is absolutely no reason for you to max out its Defense. Steelix's Defense is so high that everyone is going to use Special Attacks to beat it. So to be a successful wall, Steelix needs to have a Careful Nature with 252 SDef EVs.

Anyways, you can replace Steelix with Uxie, who is also a physical wall that can lay down Rocks,

SLOWKING

Slowking's main selling point over Slowbro is the fact that it can learn Nasty Plot, so use it over Calm Mind
Your EVs need work. Since you're going to sweep and not wall, you don't need any Special Defense EVs. Move all of your SDef EVs into HP.

ABSOL

Why does it have Will-o-wisp? Absol is a sweeper, it doesn't have time to worry about inflicting status moves. It's way too frail for that. Also, with only Night Slash and Sucker Punch, anything that resists Dark (Fighting, Steel, and Dark types) will wall you completely. If you want to sweep, you need to have move coverage. Use Psycho Cut for Fighting types and Superpower for Dark/Steel types.

Your EVs also need work. Absol isn't a very fast Pokemon, so it needs all the speed it can get. There's no point in giving it max HP.

Your final set should look like this:

Yes, because Ambipom can't set up Stealth Rock and your Ambipom doesn't even have a good nature/EVs (why Hardy? why 252 SDef Evs?)
