Valenica Academy: Curse of the Moonstone PG-15

Elena's POV

"I have noticed that the book is fairly specific in moves and abilities of the legendary pokemon. I have concluded that whoever wrote this book has captured all of the legendary pokemon at some point and made observations on them. Since it was in this library, I have reason to suspect that whoever had captured all of the legendary pokemon that we know of so far has captured every legendary pokemon and wrote a book based on their observations," Miharu said.

I nodded and looked at the spot in front of her, debating whether I should just smile an walk away or sit down and try to be friends, I chose the latter.

"My book is about Whisper Forest," I started, looking down at the book I held tightly and immediately loosened up. "Apparently, the whispers that are heard there are just Celebi crying out, begging people to find Latios and Latias so she can escape and help the other trapped Pokemon: Entei, Suicune and Raikou. I think Entei is here, in Mount Lavatu...that's why I was so eager to come here."

I nodded toward the huge Volacano behind us. "It's smoking, but it's supposed to be dormant. Which means either somebody's using it or Entei must be in there. There's only one way to find out." I held out my hand. "Lets not start some huge grudge that doesn't apply to us, friends?"

"Hey, im here. I hope im not too late."

I looked over to the new voice and smiled. "Just in time."
 
I stood up as a new person walked over.

"Hey I hope I'm not to late."A boy said.

"You're correct,"I began speaking to Elena."The Mayans feared for their safety and locked the legendaries away. This book is about Mount Lavau, it talks about Entei being trapped in the volcano. The smoke is from Entei trying to escape, using his attacks."

I opened the book again and held it out for them."The page missing is suppose to have a myth of how to free Entei. But its been ripped out. Someone doesn't want the legendaries freed."
 
Elena's POV

I was pretty sure my eyes were bugging out of my skull. So Entei was trapped. He really was. So, was Suicune and Raikou trapped too? Suicune purified the water...but Raikou. Raikou zapped a forest. What was it called...? My head was hurting, the wheels were turning and it was giving me a headache. My fingers reached up to rub my temples and I had to try hard not to break down and scream in frustration.

"So, Entei is trapped in Mount Lavatu...how are we going to get him out? We need to save Latios and Latias to get to him." I pursed my lips and looked at the girl full on. She was really pretty with her light brown hair that made her hazel eyes stand out. "That means someone is trying to keep them trapped...and then theres the million dollar question; why?"

"Im Elena." I greeted and waved.
 
I watched as Elena thought.

"That means somebody is trying to keep them trapped...And then theres the millon dollar question: why?" Elena asked.

"I don't think we can find an answer to that just yet. Let's see what we know. Latias and Latios are trapped in Cenote Tam Chac Ha Cave, Celebi is trapped in Whisper Forest. Entei is in Mount Lavau, a dormant volcanoe which is heavily guarded, and Suicune is in Cascade beach. But where is Raikou? In the Black Forest?"I asked looking around at the group.

"Are we suppose to free the legendaries first to free Latias and latios?"I asked looking up at the sky in frustration."Or...are we suppose to free Latias and Latios first..."
 
Elena's POV

"Apparently we have to free Latios and Latias first, it's supposed to break the seal."

I took out a hair tye and pulled my hair up and took my black leather jacket off. I stuffed it in my backpack and slung it over my shoulder. I smiled at the girl and walked over to the opening of the Volcano. "Okay, to get the introductions over, Im Elena." I waved at the group and watched Skitty pull on Treecko's tail to get his attention, he had been dozing off.

I sighed. "Everyone ready?"
 
Miharu laid there quietly as she listened to everyone think and share their information.

Hm, so I was right into thinking that a fire legendary pokemon was in the volcano. However, what worries me is how they captured it. When Kaida was on her pokemon journey, she had traveled throughout all of the regions and had seen every legendary pokemon except for Mew. She told me that every time she saw Entei or any of his brothers, that they would always run away extremely fast. And most likely, if they had captured Entei they captured his brothers as well, which makes the question; how did they capture them? If this was in ancient times, then they did not have master balls. If it wasn't ancient times, than they could have gotten master balls but not enough to capture all the legendary pokemon that we know of so far. Only professors, the Elite Four, and the champions can get master balls. The only reason why I have a master ball is because I helped save the Silph company from Team Rocket and the director gave me a master ball. You could possibly use a Wobbuffet or a pokemon with mean look. However, most likely Entei, Suicune, and Raikou would defeat the Wobbuffet or pokemon with mean look and just run off. So, most likely they have master balls, but I am not discarding the Wobbuffet/mean look theory. Even for all of the legendary pokemon that do not run away, it would be hard to capture them without a master ball. However, it could be done...

Miharu sat up, putting the book on her lap. Hmm...I wonder...

Miharu's thought was cut off from a ring tone coming out of her pant's pocket. The ring tone was a Korean song. Miharu swiftly picked it up, ignoring the other people around.

"Mum, you alright?" asked Miharu, a worried frown on her lips.

Her mother laughed. "I'm just fine Miharu-chan. How is school?"

"School...it is fine, I guess. Is there anything wrong over there?"

She heard rustling from the phone, most likely the phone was being passed over to someone else.

"'Sup Miharu," said the new voice.

A faint smile was tugging at Miharu's lips. It was Kaida, her childhood friend.

"Kaida," she greeted in reply.

"Your pokemon better be getting tougher!" Miharu could hear the grin in her voice. "After all, you need to beat me like when you were younger!"

Miharu rolled her eyes. "That is why I am at this Academy, no?" This time, she stood up walking away from the group. "Kaida, do you remember Entei and about the other legendary pokemon?" Her voice was soft, only so that Kaida could hear it over the phone.

"I do remember, why?" Miharu could hear the frown in her voice.

"Because, some of the legendary pokemon, and it could be all of them, have been captured by someone and I want to bounce off my ideas of how they could have been captured to you."

"Hmm, well the only ways to capture legendary pokemon like Entei would be master ball, Wobbeffut, or a pokemon with mean look."

"Which is exactly what I thought. However, they could have been captured in ancient times, I am still not quite sure, so master balls would not have existed. And in the past, they did not have the pokeballs we have today. Which makes the question, how did they capture them? I am pretty sure in ancient times there were not any pokeballs. So, if they were captured in ancient times, then how did they capture legendary pokemon? If it is not in ancient times, then perhaps they could have used master balls, but most likely they have captured all of the legendary pokemon from my sources-" (It was habit to not say where she got her information from) "-as they have a well of information about each legendary pokemon that even you do not know about, Legendary Pokemon Expert."

"This is very disconcerting...Call me when you get more information."

"Alright, give the phone to my mum. Have a nice day Kaida."

"Good luck on your new adventure." Miharu could just feel her wink before the phone was passed back to her mother.

"I heard a little bit of your conversation, you are getting into trouble again aren't you?" asked her mother.

"It seems that I am. There are other people with me, so no need to be paranoid."

"Alright, just be careful Miharu-chan."

"Of course mum."

"Love you."

"I love you too. Stay better."

The phone disconnected from her mum's side and Miharu hanged up the pokegear as well. She then walked back to the group, in time to catch Elena sighed and saying if everyone was ready.

"I feel myself sufficient enough to continue, if everyone is ready," said Miharu.
 
"Oh, I'm Aradessa."I said and watched Miharu answer her phone and then walk away.

"I'm ready."I said.

"Shup?"Puppet asked staring at me, inches from my face.

"Ah!"I cried."Puppet you're not funny...I forgot you could get out of your pokeball on your own.

"Shup."Puppet said, though I still haven't figured out how he could talk without a mouth.

Elena's POV

"Oh, I'm Aradessa. I'm ready." she said. I smiled at her and saw the other girl walk back to the group.

"I feel myself sufficient enough to continue, if everyone is ready," she said.

I tried not to laugh when Aradessa's shuppet tried to scare her, it was very funny, it reminded me of Treecko.

Looking back at the Volcano, my stomach twisted in anticipation. Yes, I was scared half to death but this could be a huge discovery. Not that we could tell anyone but the headmisstress but after it, maybe. The bush nearest to the Volcano rustled and my head snapped up.

I looked at the group and nodded my head toward the bush and put a finger to my lips, motioning them to be quiet.

The next minute a head popped up and my eyes bugged. "Alicia?"

((OOC: Happy thanksgiving everyone. You can all bunny Alicia so it's no big deal. ;) ))
 
Miharu titled her head to the side.

Alicia...this person comes when we are just about to go inside the volcano. And Elena seems to know her. Perhaps this could be a trap? No, Elena felt truly upset about the captured pokemon and most people can not fake emotion like that, and I do not suspect Elena can. Perhaps this is a coincidence? No, I do not believe in coincidence, I believe in conspiracies. Maybe there was a camera that we missed or something that caused them to send the person, Alicia, here. No, I would have spotted a camera right away...

Alicia got out of the bush and walked towards the cult. "What are you guys doing here, this place is off-limits!"

Miharu decided the best course of action, hiding all of her pokeballs and decided to manipulate and makes stuff up completely out of the blue. It works a lot.

Miharu walked up to Alicia with a shy and polite smile on her face. "I am sorry ma'am, but somehow, my pokeballs had unclipped and rolled into the volcano and I had no clue of to where it went as it was so dark. I was pacing outside of the volcano wondering how I was going to get them back when I did not have any pokemon when all of these people," she nodded towards the cult, who still looked quite shocked and dumb, "came by and offered to help me. We were just about to go in there to find my pokeballs. I am very sorry ma'am." Miharu looked down on her feet, looking very sad and guilty. Alicia's heart melted at the expression.

"I'm sorry honey. You know what? I think I can make an exception this time." Alicia winked at Miharu. "But where is that guard that usually stands out here?"

Miharu looked up happily and hugged Alicia. "Oh, thank you! And that guard..." she pointed at the sleeping guard. "He took a nap and I did not want to wake him up."

Alicia smiled at Miharu. "Your welcome sweetie. Just be careful alright?" Miharu let go of Alicia and nodded while smiling.

"Of course!" exclaimed Miharu. Alicia nodded at Elena before leaving.

When Alicia couldn't be seen, Miharu dropped the happy expression on her face and put her usually neutral, if not bored, face on. She raised an eyebrow at the still dumbstruck moonstone cult members. "Shall we go now?" Miharu started walking into the volcano.

((OOC: Yes, yes really. Yes, that did just happened. XD))
 
I almost jumped when a lady came out from behind a bush, Elena seemed to know her for she called her name."Alicia?"

I stopped myself from shaking, I wouldn't allow it, though I am never good with confertation. Which is why I'm so shy and quiet. Anyways before anybody could get a second to think, Miharu walked up to the girl and started to tell the lady a story about she lost her pokeballs. I studied her face, I couldn't believe how she could lie like that. Without studdering or something of that nature.

The lady believed her and told us to be careful. Miharu started to walk towards the volcano. I followed but I looked behind my shoulder, afraid the lady was hiding somewhere, watching us.
 
A woman pops out from behind a bush. Some of the others appear startled, and Elena seems shocked to see her. I file away the fact heat they know each other, and prepare to approach the woman. But Miharu beats me to it. A stand amazed at her sudden transformation into a shy, apologetic girl. How swiftly she alters her emotions, responding to the new human in our midst. I am amazed. As the lady smiles and leaves, Miharu drops the act, leading the way into the volcano. But not me. I hang back. I follow the woman, this "Alicia". I don't trust her. The team will have to do without me for now. I must fiind out what this woman knows. I follow her quietly, curious as to where she's going, and who she'll meet...

Elena's POV

I stared in shock at Miharu, how did she just do that? "Did you take acting lessons while you were around or something?" I asked and shook my head. "Okay, time to go in, no more stalling. I dont want any other people wandering around and finding us."

But somehow, I didn't think Alicia was 'wandering around'. Alicia was up to something, could she be behind all this? She seems to nice and sweet... but those are the ones you need to be careful of.

I walked towards the Volcano and looked for the opening, finding it I pused as hard as I could until it opened. I stepped inside, it was burning hot in here.

"Dormant Volcano," I reminded myself. "Yet it still looks like it could blow any second." I looked back at everyone. "If Entei really is in here then we need to find him."
 
((OOC: XD I know, right? Anyways, now you have to continue on with Alicia because Godzil decided to stalk her. xP))

Miharu turned around, walking backwards. "Acting lessons?" She jumped over a small rock that was planning to trip her. Bloody rock. "No, I do not take acting lessons, nor have I ever taken acting lessons. It is what you can say...a gift. It certainly came in handy when I had to infiltrate that Team-bloody-Rocket HQ." The last sentence was mumbled, too soft for anyone to hear.

Miharu had to suppress a shiver when the heat from the volcano reached her. She had always gotten violent shivers whenever a very noticeable change in temperature reaches her.

She wasn't blind to the fact that one of the boys had left, trailing Alicia. If the other didn't notice, then that was there problem. Her paranoia told her that he could have been an ally of Alicia, whoever she was and whatever her cause is. She also couldn't shake the thought that Alicia appearance wasn't a coincidence. She felt like someone was watching her. Miharu had to suppress a shiver again. She doesn't really like the feeling.

Miharu blinked. "Does anyone have psychic pokemon? Psychic pokemon are usually better to tell where legendary pokemon are. Although the psychic type pokemon has to be trained to specialize in finding legendary pokemon, or if you are a more competent trainer then most, they would have to be able to find things without having anything to go by. If not, dragon pokemon are as good as well and I do have a dragon pokemon."
 
((OCC: Is it ok if I make my character have a connection with Entei? If not I'll change my post.))

I followed the others towards the volcano but before going in she seen a guy follow Alicia.

Miharu asked if anyone had a psychic Pokemon but I didn't hear all of it because all I heard was buzzing. Before I knew what happened I started to run, I had no control of my legs! I ran down a couple paths, in the volcano, leaving the others far behind.

I run into a large room that's completely empty and now I can speak but I can't move.

"He-Hello?"My voice was shaky and very thin. The buzzing came back and my voice was once again gone. I started to shake. What's wrong? Why was I pulled to this room?

((OOC: Haha, I know xD Yes, angel you can have a connection :) Im actually hoping we all find connections with the pokemon in this roleplay. Also, Im going on holiday today for about a week. So, im gonna have Elena get lost or something. You all just carry on and when I get back Ill continue :) ))

Alicia's POV

Alicia walked through the forest, mumbling to herself how stupid she was for sticking her head up. Why hadn't she just stayed down and kept out of sight? I could have followed them, she thought glumly. Now she'd never know what they were up to.

She kept her eyes on the ground, stepping over the sticks and stones in her way. She made her way to the back of the Volcano and looked up at the smoke. "Wish he'd stop making a fuss..."

Elena's POV

My neck hurt when I craned my head upwards, it was like a...museum. It had slopes and stairs inside it leading to different places. This was just way to weird.

Miharu asked if there were any Physcic Pokemon and I sighed. "Nope, if my Skitty was a Delcatty then yes, but sadly no."

Then Aradessa took off running.

"Whoa! Hey, wait! What's going on?!" I shouted after her and looked at Miharu before running after her. "Where are you going?" Before I got an answer, someone grabbed me from my right and I fell into a small room.

"Whoa.." I looked around and saw that there was a single bed and a furnace in the corner of the room. I looked at my captive. "Alicia?" I asked before she knocked me out.
 
((OOC: Two things, one; Miharu, if Mew has been captured, is going to have a "connection" to a legendary pokemon although not as much as Aradessa. Second, I might be allowed on a computer, in fact I shouldn't even be on, because I'm not feeling well. xD I'll try to get on though.))

Miharu was just about to tell Elena that Delcatty was still a normal type pokemon before she saw Aradessa running into the volcano as if in a trance. Then Elena looked at her before running after the other girl. Miharu ran in as well, not caring if whoever was left had followed her or not. She couldn't see any sign of Elena or Aradessa, so she let out her Dragonair. Dragonair curled up around Miharu and nuzzled her, but when she didn't get a pet or another response, she looked at Miharu's face worried, but then the same trance that seemed to hit Aradessa took over Dragonair and she untangled herself from Miharu and started flying through the hallways. Miharu followed her quickly, not wanting to get lost although most likely she could have figured it out. She did notice a room to the right of her, but heed no mind.

Dragonair finally stopped next to Aradessa and Miharu came running in after. She noticed Aradessa looked slightly lost and scared. Miharu then had this weird feeling of losing control of her limbs, but she could feel herself able to move her mouth, to speak and breathe. She tried to struggle against the invisible hold if only to grab her pokeballs, but she could see that Aradessa was under the same invisible hold that she was in, but Dragonair was not. She also noticed that Elena wasn't here.

Did Elena get lost? Or perhaps she was kidnapped? Bugger. And what could have held us like this? Psychic pokemon? Precautionary traps from whoever kidnapped the legendary pokemon? The legendary pokemon themselves?

"Dragonair, you can still move?"

Dragonair nodded, having come over the trance.

"Good, release your teammates. Unfortunately, I find myself unable to move."

Dragonair floated over to Miharu and touched the pokeballs' button to release her fellow pokemon. A Charizard, Gyarados, and Jolteon came out as well.

"Team, be prepared for anything. I have a feeling that we will be facing a legendary pokemon."

All four of her pokemon nodded before hearing a roar. It was Entei's roar.

I had been able to move to a wall and I was feeling a wall. The wall was extremely warm, then a large dragonair flew in and landed next to me. I heard footsteps but couldn't move to look who it was.

I heard her ask her dragonair if it could move and then say."Good release your teammates. Unfortunately. I found myself unable to move." The dragonair quickly released Miharu's other Pokemon.

Miharu told her Pokemon to get ready for a battle with a legendary Pokemon and a loud roar filled the room. Puppet clung to my neck in fright,"Puppet realize Blue and Meadow. Come on sweetie, don't be afraid."

Puppet let go of my neck and released my other Pokemon. Blue, Pikachu, stood up and.sparks flicked from her cheeks. Meadow, Raltz, just looked around with a sleepy and dazed look on his face.
 
Miharu saw that Aradessa had used her "Puppet" to release her Pikachu and Ralts just when Entei jumped down in front of them. Suddenly, she found herself able to move. She cautiously stepped forward. "Entei...?"

Entei, with a burst of speed, tackled Miharu who was flown back only to be caught by Charizard. Charizard set Miharu down who wobbled slightly. Entei's claws had dug into her skin at her stomach drawing blood that slowly stained the white sweatshirt she had on. Miharu looked at the blood before staring at Entei. She sighed. "Entei, calm down. We are not enemies. We only want to help free you."

Entei's response was a huge roar. Miharu sighed. Entei let out a powerful fire attack whose heat could be felt as it traveled through the air towards Miharu. Charizard used his wings to block Miharu from the fire attack and winced. Even if he was a fire pokemon, it had still hurt. Entei growled. It clearly distrusted humans, especially after being kept in a place like this.

Wait, if Entei is "trapped" here, how could we come in but he could not come out? Miharu looked at the place in which she entered and saw that it was blocked. Damn. So that is why Entei could not leave. But why did it suddenly open? And how is it closed off now?

Miharu's thoughts were cut off from another fire attack from Entei which was flying towards Jolteon. "Jolteon, dig." Jolteon dug underground, avoiding the fire attack by inches.

I do not want to get in a battle with a legendary pokemon.

((OOC: I have to ask, how many moves are the pokemon allowed to use? Only four or can we have infinite?))
 
I follow Alicia silently, watching where she steps and steeping in the same places. She stops in front of the volcano, muttering to herself. "Wish he'd stop making a fuss." She enters the volcano, and I follow quickly.

"So she does know something. And now she's inside, with the others. Not if I can help it." I rush forward, stopping suddenly when something hard strike me in the chest. I look up to see Alica, adjusting her stance after kicking me. "I think she hit something vital. Having a hard time moving..."

"But not talking. Do you ever shut up?"

"Nope... Not while I'm awake."

"Oh. That can be arranged."

I notice I have fallen to my knees, and notice her foot coming toward my face. "What? Oh cr-"

I watched in horror as Entei tackled Miharu, my hand flew up to my mouth as I gasped. My mouth was dry and I swallowed. Entries roared and went after Miharu again but her charizard blocked the attack by covering her with its wings

I seen Miharu look at the entrance and I followed her gaze. How did that happen? Is that why Entei is trapped?

I looked back just in time to see Entei charging at Miharu and her Charizard."Blue use Quick Attack to get in front of it and the use Thundershock." Pikachu ran towards Entei and got in between them. Then she cried as lighting bolts came from her cheeks.

The lightning struck Entei on the forehead and Entei roared. I felt like an icy hand squeezed my heart and I could feel sadness. Though it wasn't mine, I looked at Entei as it stared at Pikachu.

"-E-Entei?"
