Valentines Dance

When theyy were at the dance Melein got out of the limo and dragged Hiki into the dance. "Hey want some punch?"
 
"Accck......" Hiki muttered while adjusted his collar.
"Wow,they decorated this place real well."
 
"I know it looks so beautiful." She stared at the decorations hanging above the wall.
 
Alana grinned. "Thanks. This is proabaly the most fun for me too. I've been being pestered by Summer all week. I wasn't going to come but Summer eventually conveinced me." The song changed. "Two more songs to the dance competition." Said Alana a minute before the D.J.
 
"Summer's my best friend. We became best friends last year because our lockers were beside each other. She's really a nice person just a little boy crazy. It's mainly around dances that she gets like this. Other times she's fine." Alana sighed and took another sip of Pepsi then looked around at all the peopel dancing. "So I guess I'll enter the contest. How bout you? And what dance should we do?" She asked this cause she already knew the answer to her last question.
 
"Do you want to dance?"I smiled at her and blushed.I was wondering what kind of song they were going to play first."But after the dance can we get some food i'm starving"I said while smiling and rubbing the back of my head.
 
"Yes we shall." The most possibly slow song came on. So slow it took like 10 minutes to end. "Wow. I thought that song would never end."
 
ooc:whats the answer to the last question?*is dumfounded*

"Well I guess...I have no clue.its your call."I said back to her.I didn't know what songs there would be.slow,fast,medium,everything else and I had no clue.
 
OOC: When I asked if you were going to enter after I said I would.


"Hmm. Well we have one song to go. Let's practice a little. I know one we could do but it's kind of complicated. What do you say?" Said Alana as she took another sip of Pepsi and put the bottle down. She moved forward ready to teach him.

"Oh sure.the one you have in mind what kind is it?I mean like fast,slow,medium,rock,rap,whatever."I asked her as we moved out to dance some more.
 
"Medium really." She replied. "Here just follow what I do." She started to teach him a new dance. It had more moves but it wasn't that hard to learn. "Do it about two times and you'll have it down. That's how long it took me at least." She smiled and moved aside to let him try.
 
I shuffled around akwardly and did the dance she showed me.It took me more than two tries.it took about four.
"Soooo..............Summer is a little boy crazy huh?why don't we-"I broke off as someone called out my name.I looked around as they called my name again.
"JASOOONN!!!"he called out.I finally saw Josh waving his arm like mad and walking toward me with his date.
"Hi Jason.so you did get a date huh?"he asked me.he was looking at Alana quizically.
 
Alana went bright red. "Um hi." She said quietly. She listened and it sounded like the song was coming to a close. "The contest is about to start. Are you entering?" She asked Josh trying to avoid his gaze. She didn't like it when people stared.
 
"I guess so.So did dhe teach you how to dance?"he said.I turned red this time and said,"Yeah.I uhh you know I can't dance.now I can!"I told him.I grabbed another pepsi off the table and engrossed myself into drinking as fast as I could.
 
"No Summer didn't teach me how to dance. She taught me a few steps but I learned them when I was younger. I went to another school that had a dance club." She shrugged and walked over to him. She picked up her Pepsi, took a sip, then said, "Don't drink so fast you'll chock." The song ended and the D.J. made the announcment that the dance contest was about to begin. Anyone who wanted to enter just stay on the floor. Those who didn't just stay on the side lines. Alana took a quick breath and another sip of Pepsi then walked back onto the dance floor.
 
I drowned the last of the pesi and followed Alana out to the dance floor.I was very nervous now and I was beginning to feel weird.
Oh man!what if I mess up what if I mess up!?I thought.I shut my brain down from these thoughts and formed a barrior to keep me out of my own mind.
