"Ha,bet I could eat more."I grabbed her hand."Come on the dance floor awaits"I said smiling.
 
the song called 'since you been gone' by Avril Livigne came on, and i smiled. "not exactly the best song to dance to" i said. "oh well, i love this song" i said as a followed him.
 
The D.J. started talking about the dance contest rules. "You can do any dance as long as its apropiate. Do not copy anyone else. You can do the same dance as some one else but if they add their own moves you are not allowed to copy it. You are allowed to make up your own dance. Alright have fun." The song changed to a good dance song and the D.J. said, "Ok who wants to go first?" Summer and Andy stepped forward.

"We can go fourth I guess. I don't want to be first or last."
 
"This is going to be fun. Let's go third 3 is a lucky number ya know."

As for the rest of you, you can continue the RP, but I advise you increase how much content you have in each post. I will give a sample so that you may know professional stratagies of making long and impressive posts (note: this does not count in the RP):

Parties... I hated them. Absoloutly hated them. I sighed, relaxing aginst the wall, watching several others converse. I brushed my long black hair out of my face, and glanced down at my clothes. black sleeveless, and black skirt. And a gold necklace around my neck. I sighed, when I felt somebody take my hand, and pull me from the wall. I looked at the person that had been bold enough, and saw a tall man with a muscular body, smiling lightly, and pulling me into a slow dance, keeping close to me at all times...

Summer and Andy finished and the D.J. called, "Alright next pair. And if you want to request a song feel free." Alana's heart jumped slightly.

"Three more songs to go. I wonder who's next. Apart from nerves of entering this dance competition is quite enjoyable."
 
"Uhhh Hiki why don't we go next? She tugged Hiki's shirt. Please? *puppy eyes* Let's just go second."
 
"When do you want to go T.J?"I never liked dancing much but I at least knew how to.My mom had always said I was a litte wierd cause she couldn't dance."Come on we'll go 5th or something I just want to get this overwith.But I also want to dance with you."I was smiling because I knew the sooner we finished dancing the sooner I would get my food.

"Why do they always do that trick on me?..." Hiki spoke quietly to himself.
"Alright,second it'll be!"
 
"Yay!!! The puppy eyes always work." She dragged Hiki on to the dance floor. "Boy you're heavy."

Alana watched grinning alightly as two people she knew from school walked onto the dance floor. She didn't know their names because she had only see them but she had never pictured the boy entering a dance contest. "Two more contestents then us." She muttered under her breath.
 
Oh boy....I thought.I ran back over to the food table and ordered another hamburger.I ordered another pepsi also.when I came back to where Alna was standing I watched the other contestants.
"I'm nervous..."I explained as I started eating my second hamburger.
 
"I am too. But maybe you shouldn't eat when your nervous. You might get fat and we don't need that right before the contest." She grinned then went back to watching the other contestants.

"Thank you very much. Third pair please." Said the D.J.
