I'M JOINING! XD ...Yeah, I'll assume more than one person saw this coming.

My favorite character has always been Yuki. A lot of people complain that she's a weak heroine, simply because Zero is usually the one who ends up saving her, but I don't think that's the case at all. She's proven many times that she'll do whatever she can to help the ones she cares about, and I think that's her biggest strong point.

Of course, I also love Zero and Kaname. I probably lean more towards Zero because he's not... pretty, like a lot of guys in shoujo series are. He's tough and will jump right into a fight if it means protecting Yuki, but he also has a more gentle side, like when he lets her drag him around everywhere by his sleeve. XD I think that's hilarious. ♥

I am guessing this is one of those Japanese names that has more than one spelling? Yuki & Yuuki?

Yeah, I think so. XD I usually see it spelled as either Yuki or Yuuki, but Hino Matsuri once romanized it as Yūki (with a macron to indicate a long vowel). All are perfectly acceptable spellings, though.

I usually go by "Yuki" since that's the licensed English-version spelling, but I may be slightly biased since I have a Japanese pen-pal with that name. XD

How far are you in the manga?

I own the first 4 volumes but yesterday I started reading ahead on onemanga. I got up to chapter 32 so far.

I am a little obsessed over Zero~ He is awesome.

Are you watching the anime & reading the manga?

Both! I'm really pleased with the anime so far. ♥ I'm hoping they'll make a second season eventually.

And I'm up to... er, chapter 24 or so at the moment. XD I don't have time to read the manga online, with the exception of a few random chapters, so I've been collecting the series through the volumes and all of my Shojo Beat issues (which make the artwork look even prettier, since the pages are larger). I'll catch up eventually!

Speaking of chapter 24 (one of my favorites), I was reading it in the latest issue of SB and decided to do a coloring of Yuki. At least it turned out better than my last few attempts. XD And it didn't take as long to do!
