Venusaur EX: Pokemon X and Y TCG

Does anyone know if a Venusaur EX card with two semi-solid black lines running down the center makes it an error card? Any advice on authenticating it if so?

I'd say that makes it a botched print, not an error. An error typically has something missing or something the wrong color. The difference here is that the lines don't make the card more valuable. It's only worthy of being considered a misprint if there are hundreds of them like it. Typically that sort of botched print is a one-off happenstance. People aren't going to pay for a card that could have just as easily happened by running a sharpie or some other marker down the front of the card.

Seems like it was definitely a botched machine print error, which is concerning!

Picked up my box a bit ago and just waiting to get off work so i can start opening them. Nut i will be sure to update.

Pulled a full art Yveltal and the Blastoise EX as well as Mega Blastoise and they were perfect so that makes me extremely happy :D.
