    What Nature and Ev's would be best for Venusaur?
     
    sleep powder over toxic for sure. sludge bomb has a high% for toxic anyway and toxic overall is a horrible move.

    modest, bold, calm all work for venasaur. and you want max hp ev's(252) and depending which you like better, 138ev's in either sp.def or def, then 120ev's in the other def.
     
    i'd go for relaxed nature. earthquake is also a nice option for fools like metagross who would otherwise 2-3HKO venu.
     
    I never even thought about earthquake on him, I think I'll do that. It's a lot more useful than Toxic (like c dog said) and sleep powder misses a lot anyways.

    Most people play with sleep clause, that's something to keep in mind.

    If you weren't going with sleep powder, you might want to look into torterra. He gets STAB with earthquake.
     
    you won't need sludge bomb if you give it earthquake. it needs both leech seed + sleep powder to take care of blissey.
