2nd Gen Vermillion city

ok you know how in Vermillion city to the right of the pokemon center where there is this guy who has been there for alot of games what is the point of that if they aren't gonna show you what is being made cause in Silver and Gold and Crystal he was still there.i started seeing him there since Yellow Blue and Red.he says the same thing in every game he ishaveing his Machop stomp the ground down.

It's one of those weird things that meant something in the beta version of the game. Actually if you talk to the guy in the gold or silver version then immediately select the coin case in your bag, something real freaky happens. A glitch that was once something but the event was removed in the final game. That's what I've heard.
