Veterans Day (Remembrance Day) - Nov 11, 2010

My mother is Filipino, and her father fought in the Second World War, and was in the Bataan Death March (if you don't know what it is, look it up ^^). I'm proud to say that I'm at least directly related to someone who fought hard to protect a country, although it may not be mine. I'm proud to be related to someone who is courageous enough to fight for peace.

Today I war a poppy... actually, five poppies, and I lost them all .___. I have one left xD

I want to honor everyone who fought in WWI, WWII, The Vietnam War, and other wars after those. Your courage is recognized today. And I want to thank you for fighting to make us safe. We wouldn't have been here if it wasn't for the veterans. So this is their day. I hope everyone have a nice one.

I hold all men and women of the US military in very high regard. They are the ones to thank for the peace of mind we have today. Great thanks to the veterans and may anyone who did not survive the war they fought in, thank you and may my cousin and the rest of you rest in peace.
