With the announcement that Wisconsin is having a regional here. I started focusing on putting a team together. I need to know what could wall me hard and how to fix it. Also how to deal with Trick Room. If I cant spore the crap out of TR users I am basically owned. All advice is appreciated.

    Talonflame @ Life Orb
    Ability: Gale Wings
    EVs: 96 HP / 252 Atk / 160 Spd EVs: 46 HP / 252 Atk / 210 Spd
    Adamant Nature
    - Flare Blitz
    - Brave Bird
    - U-turn
    - Swords Dance

Talon is my leading Vengeance Sweeper. I originally had Sitrus Berry but thinking that VGC is super fast pace and there is no time for it to heal to attack again. As seen I made adjustments as suggested Zekrom just didnt do the correct caluc. Will be fixed

    Amoonguss @ Mental Herb
    Ability: Regenerator
    EVs: 252 HP / 4 SAtk / 252 SDef
    Calm Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk / 0 Spd
    - Giga Drain
    - Spore
    - Protect
    - Rage Powder

    Sableye @ Lum Berry
    Prankster
    252 SDef / 252 HP / 4 Atk
    Careful
    flawless for now
    - Taunt
    - Will-O-Wisp
    - Fake Out
    - Swagger

Amoonguss helps setting up Dragonite and talon get boost in stats. Its also the only TR stopper in the set. Mental herb is to stop taunts. The 0 Ivs is to reduce confusion damage and be able to go first in a TR setting 9/10 times. Instead of trying to spam with spore I wanted to fiddle with messing with peoples stats. I was not happy with the lack of effectiveness that Amoonguss was giving me and being mega slow didnt help. I am sure this isnt a Standard Sableye, but so far this has been effective. Or I havent played consistent people who know what they are doing. I do get walled by Quick Guard so solutions for this would be appreciated

    Azumarill @ Choice Band
    Ability: Huge Power
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
    Adamant Nature
    - Play Rough
    - Superpower
    - Waterfall
    - Aqua Jet

A friend help me discover this Banded Azumarill. Its been working like a charm on threating Rotom-H and dragons w/o the need for ice moves

    Kangaskhan (F) @ Kangaskhanite
    Ability: Scrappy
    EVs: 252 Atk / 252 HP / 4 SDef
    Adamant Nature
    - Fake Out
    - Return
    - Power-Up Punch
    - Protect

Oddly I use Mega-Khan to help deal with Intimidate users and use Pu-P to return 2 levels of attack.

    Alakazam @ Alakazite
    Ability: Magic Guard
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 SAtk / 4 HP
    Timid Nature
    - Psychic
    - Shadow Ball
    - Focus Blast
    - Protect

Using as a Special Sweeper. I think I want to change him for a Special sweeper I just dont know who would be better I am open to suggestions.

    Dragonite @ Weakness Policy
    Ability: Multiscale
    EVs: 252 Spd / 252 Atk / 4 SAtk 252 Spd / 64 Atk / 192 SAtk
    Adamant Nature
    - Outrage - Dragon Claw
    - Thunderbolt - Flamethrower
    - Dragon Dance - Dragon Dance
    - Dragon Rush - Extreme Speed

Wanted to put in a Dragon type in this team. Garchomp is under-powered w/o SD. Rush i am chancing to get more power out of and Outrage as a late game sweeping move especially if Weakness or DD is in effect, Yes I pretty much copied Zekrom and it has been much more successful than the original set I created. I may switch to Fire+Thunderpunches. I am not getting as much as I hope out of Flamethrower. I noticed that with this current set I dont have the time to set up a DD. How can I fix this?

The only big problem I see with your team is Dragonite. Lose Outrage and DDance and go for more coverage moves. Either any of the elemental punches or Earthquake. Why do you have Thunderbolt on an ADAMANT Dnite? Lose that too. Get Extremespeed. Dnite needs it.

If SD isn't working for Talonflame, you might as well switch to standard Talonflame. Flare Blitz / Brave Bird or Acrobatics / Protect or Wide Guard / U-turn or Roost

Anyhow, you pretty much already have your anti Trick Room fighters... both Talonflame and Azumarill's priority give you an edge. So will Dnite once you fix its moveset.

VGC/Doubles isn't my forte, but I'll try to give whatever help I can.

Change Talonflame's EV spread to: 40 HP, 252 Attack, 216 Speed. That gives it more speed so it can outspeed really fast Pokemon when its not using Brave Bird. You don't need a whole lotta bulk on it anyway since doubles is so offensively based and the only pokes that should run bulky EV spreads are those with good bulk to begin with (I think).

You can only have one Pokemon mega evolve per battle, so it'd be best to have only one poke on a team hold a Mega Stone. Between Mega Khan and Mega Zam, I'd keep Kangaskhan as your mega, since it kinda sucks otherwise. Alakazam can function alright without mega evolving. Give it a Focus Sash instead.

Weakness Policy Dragonite is great, but your set could use improvement. This'd be better:

    -Dragonite w/Weakness Policy
    Nature: Jolly/Adamant
    Ability: Multiscale
    EVs: 252 Attack, 252 Speed, 4 HP
Moves: Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Extreme Speed, Fire Punch/Thunder Punch

Outrage and Dragon Rush aren't so good in doubles. Outrage randomly selects its target (so it'll hit Steels and Fairies, who are very common, when you don't want it to, because thats how **** works). Dragon Rush's accuracy is too shaky to be reliable, and you have a better alternative, Dragon Claw. With the EVs, a Dragon Dance, and the boost from Weakness Policy, Dragonite hits like a speeding truck. Dragonite certainly looks like it can go mixed, but I'm not sure if that actually works. And its current nature prevents it from going mixed because Adamant drops Sp.Attack. But if it was gonna go mixed, maybe something like this would work:

    -Dragonite w/Weakness Policy
    Nature: Naive/Hasty
    Ability: Multiscale
    EVs: 64 Attack, 192 Sp.Attack, 252 Speed
Moves: Dragon Claw, Dragon Dance, Flamethrower/Thunderbolt, Extreme Speed

Something like that. Hope this helps.

Is Choice Band Azumarril a thing? Need to check it up :)

Dragonite is your problem in the team. Replace Outrage and Dragon dance with moves like Dragon Tail and Hurricane.

Thunderbolt is to give damage to water types and also gives it the ability to fight somewhat if it is burned. I could replace it with Fire Blast or something. What would you suggest for the item on it then?

Is there a good Alt to Extreme Speed? In case Pokebank is delayed extremely long term

Dragonite really likes to have a priority move to make up for its average speed. So there's not a terribly good alternative for it. Your best bet in this case is to run both Fire and Thunder Punch to give some extra coverage. Should still work if it has a Dragon Dance under its belt.

And I really hope PokeBank isn't delayed for much longer. I'm tired of waiting for it. I want my 'mons already!

If you can, find someone with an Extremespeed Dratini. I know there's a few floating around PC. Running Earthquake is an option to deal with Mega Manectric. You should check calculations however to see if MegaMan's HP ice will OHKO or not. Assault Vest or Weakness Policy is what I would run on Dnite. Lum berry if he has issues with status.

Ive updated the team. This seems to be working better but still a couple of issues

    Hmmm....

If the sorta mixed Dragonite set isn't working out, go with the all-physical set I posted instead (request a Dratini with Extreme Speed at the Trade Plaza here). 'Though I'm starting to wonder if Weakness Policy Dragonite should be replaced....

Sableye should use Recover, not Swagger. Swag is a risky move, and Sableye is, as far as I know, the only Pokemon with priority healing. So be sure to take advantage of that. Also, are you able to get a Prankster Sableye in-game? Cuz if not, my Friend Safari has Sableye in it, so you could get one that way.

You need a proper attack on Sableye. Taunt ruins it easily. Fake Out isn't gonna do it. Also, if you want to use Flamethrower on Dnite, you MUST change its nature. Otherwise switch to Fire Punch.

Ive been suggested Foul Play with a Careful nature.
