This game was great fun, right until VICTORY ROAD.

Ughhh...It is the most boring part of any videogame I've ever played.

Not to mention...I've now been stuck in there for 6 Hours.

Max Repels won't work, as my Pokemon are Levels 45-51.

UGHHH. I have to keep going out to heal my Pokemon. It's a horrendous nightmare.

As I enter my 7th hour, can anyone tell me how long it took you to suffer through it?

seriously? dude I got through there in less then 7 minutes ha ha

LOL....7 hours seriously? well I got through it in minutes really...this was one of the easiest Victory Roads ever...

    Well?

Well, nobody is perfect at everything. >_>
The R/B/Y and FR/LG's version of the victory road took me almost an hour to get through the first time. :l
Well, the Victory Road does make good place to level up almost any pokemon as long as they can bring it down in a couple of turns. :D
Surprising how Steelix is in Wild in D/P/Pt :O
next they'll add Scizor as a wild pokemon? :O

Have your tried the run option it works quite well. Also 7 hours I could probably beat 4 or 5 gym leaders in that time period.

Wow, 7 hours on Victory Road is an imense time period, that isn't normal. I took about 15-20 minutes.

This was the worst of all the Victory Roads, just seemed rushed and boring, i would like a Victory Road that is an actual road at some point instead of an annoying cave.

Yeah, I think every cave is a little boring... I like to battle!!!

    Yes yes yes,

But the BIGGEST problem, is the HUGE maze.

And every time I'm randomly attacked by a Pokemon every 5 seconds, I get disorientaited, and wander off in the wrong direction.

    Victory Log 1#:

I finally found a new trainer. It was a boring fight. She was easy. That's because my Pokemon were now a ridiculous level, as account of being stuck in THIS DAMN HELLISH CAVE.

What a fun and joyful game.

    Oh, because everybody is helping by saying that they got through in a matter of minutes. >>;

Magikoopa189, you've certainly found how steep the difficulty curve of the game leaps up at Victory Road if your Pokémon are underlevelled. What I'd advise is that you use the first room simply to train your Pokémon to an acceptable level, perhaps all six into the low 50s. At that level it should be a piece of cake to get through to the other side, especially with a Water-/Grass-type to take care of the large amount of Graveler and Onix. Just grind to get your Pokémon to these levels, dashing off outside to the Pokémon Centre when required. Once you've reached a sufficient level then take another shot at getting through.

Do bear in mind, however, that you'll probably beed a lot more training in Victory Road - the strongest Pokémon you'll face in the Elite Four is a level 66 Garchomp, and it's not on the Uber Tier in the metagame for nothing. =/

Max Repels work wonders these days, you know.

I don't know how long it took me to get through the Victory Road, but is was definately less than 30 minutes.

As the OP stated, his Pokémon are of too low a level for Repels to be effective, as they only stop Pokémon with a level lower than that of the first Pokémon in your party from appearing.

As has been said, the reason you're spending so long in there is because your Pokémon are such a low level. Use the cave to train up your Pokémon and then get some Max Repels on the go.

The Victory Road "maze" isn't at all complicated. I'm not saying that to patronise you, but it is a more or less linear path. Sure, there are some dead ends here and there, but otherwise it's plain sailing.

However, this doesn't deserve it's own thread, so please use the Q&A or Sinnoh Journal stickies in future.
