Violence linked to Pokemon!

Well actually you get to kill things in mario.

But games like Enter the Matrix and Syphon Filter rule. Guns and bombs and knives and all that blood I love it!
 
I think of it this way...Kids are not the way they are because of T.V. shows. They are the way they are because of the people around them. They look up to certain people and want to do what they do. Like for instance, Big brother wears baggy pants= a million gangster wanna bes......
 
ummmmmm........................... is that a fact or opinion? I haven't seen ne studies linking pokemon and violence. i would say its a very extreme opinion.
 
Well, its time for my two cents.

Pokemon was the cause of WWI, WWII, and Bush's war.

There have been many 'Pokemon' style drug trades, and gang fights going on. For some reason, when the dealer gives out his substance, he says "go chronic!", or "go dank!!"

When gangs have fights, they tend to throw rocks, and call out Pokemon names. And when the average child has a fight in school, he says "Its all because of that ****ed Pokemon show!, ever since I started watching the show, I've been dying for fights!"

And when children do poorly on tests, they usually blame it on their Pokemon. "Charmander gave me the wrong answers" "Pikachu made me laugh through the test" etc.

So as you can see, Pokemon IS the reason for violence, and other disturbing issues too.

I'm not a drug addict. I still use drugs(just Mary Jane), only, I am just not addicted.

And why should we stop acting humorous? This is a funny topic. Pokemon linked to violence! XD!

I was just saying, that if you connect Pokemon to violence, you might as well connect it to doing drugs, sex, selling drugs, bad grades, Cancer, AIDS, rape, slavery, being homeless, stealing candy from babies, etc...

What about Star Wars is it violence too? I have a Pokemon fic which my characters do bleed a little.

Pokemon is not even grade 2B violence!

How could parents say that Pokemon is violent without searching some informations?

Violince! Pokemon! I dont think so. So what about GTA. Its 112 % violince ca. :laugh: Anyway, It was pokemon(And power rangers) That learn me english.....

Typo and grammar correction to save the day. Here's proof that Power Rangers and Pokemon aren't the best sources to learn English:

Violince = Violence
"That learn me english" should read "that taught me English".

Anyway, on topic, Pokemon is about as violent as... well, a very softhearted geek. So not very at all.
