Violence linked to Pokemon!

Okay, Okay so Im not that good! But I my age I think its fine.
Come on... grammar does not matter THAT much.
As soon as people understand you is ok.

The average Pokemon violence ranking is 2A, and 2B was the highest recorded.

(Rankings: 1A, 1B, 2A, 2B, 3A is inappropriate for children, 3B, 4Acannot be shown on TV, 4B cannot be shown in public)

I consider anything under 3A as Not Violent.

Hey Jynx, where are you getting these ratings from? Are they made up, or is there an actual real system that uses this?

Far as I know, at least Hong Kong uses this system.
And "Mewtwo Strikes Back" was rated 2B. (highest I've seen in Pokemon)

I remember when shops would start putting up those obnoxious "pokemon-free zone" stickers and schools would start banning the pokemon trading cards, because apparently it was "obstructing children from doing their work". Always blaming pokemon for everything!!! It made me want to puke.

An incident I heard on the radio that "a boy was stabbed for his pokemon cards" Immediately, I began to think of all those annoying parents pointing fingers and making accusations at pokemon, but who is really to blame? The parents- they should've taught their kid better, than to stab, I mean, you don't see knives and stabbing for things in pokemon, do you? Do you? No...

Fantasy violence in pokemon, Television and games shouldn't be blamed for countless murders, robberies and everything else. The irresponsible parents and people doing them should.

Parents don't want their kids to have any fun, because it's "harmful"

Haven't seen a game in public 4B rated.

They'd have2 b personally made for the creator him(her)self.
No game over 3B rated can be sold public.

There is a great link with pokemon and violence but its like bull riding! people enjoy it and in the end the man on the bull gets killed any way so in a way we are a bit dumb in the first place!

Technically, the actual idea of Pokemon is pretty inhumane. First, you try and attack a creature who has done nothing to you until it is too weak to fight. Then you throw this thing to knock it on the head and hurt it even more, then it gets enclosed in this miniture prison thing, waiting for it to be let out just to battle other kinds of Pokemon, or perform moves for a panel of people who's job it is to select the greatest out of the great.

What I'm saying is that is Pokemon was real, then animal rights autorities would be onto training like a shot. Thank God it's only a video game... is all I say. :D

ok...

Ok They Fight, Yeh but if fighting in kids programs was banned, well we wouldn't have any kids programs still on T.V! Pokemon is only violence to people who want it to be, they just make it up, If Pokemon was truly violence it would;ve been banned years ago, lets face it, Pokemon has been out for 6s+ years!

Nothings changed in it!

First of all, thanks for stealing my slogan. Secondly, the Pokeball isn't a prison, Pokemon supposedly like the ball. Thirdly, Pokemon fight alongside humans, not against them(exept for when battling a wild Pokemon, but it was the Pokemon that attacked you!)

So ner.

I've had that slogan for three days now... Anyways, how do you know that Pokemon like the ball? We don't know what's inside the ball do we? How can we tell? Sure... they might like it, but there's also a chance that it might lock them in in liquid state. Until we know the insides of a PokeBall when a Pokemon is inside it, then we do not know how cruel (or nice) it is.
Also, I didn't say they didn't fight alongside humans, but by making them fight, they are attacking their own kind (generally, not just say an Eevee vs an Eevee or something similiar). They might not want to fight, but they have to, to protect their trainer, who just keeps it inside a PokeBall all day.

Ok but then again its not real soin a way its a dumb idea not to to not take it much too seriously!

I'm not that serious am I? *realises that he does seem to be* Eh he he he... *hides*

But, around where I live, no one actually likes Pokemon. So... no one really says it's too violent, since they haven't played on it. I'm not actually sure what other people would think if they played with it. :/

Does it really matter if they like the pokeball are not...i mean it just a t.v show...its not like the pokemon is actually in a little ball....

I sadly say it's true. Once, many years back, I little boy wanted to be like Scyther, so he grabbed two butcher knives from the kitchen, put one in each hand, and 'battled' his little sister. He didn't severely injure her, and he didn't want to...but still, it scares me. I can't stand the thought of a poor little kid killing themselves over Pokemon.. ;-;

Any person in their right mind will not do something so stupid. That'st eh mother's fault for not keeping an eye on teh little lunatic. :\ The pokeball is designed to contain a habitat that is comfortable to teh specific pokemon inside it. I read that somewhere, but where I don't know what. And the pokemon may be abttling each otehr, but they see it as a form of enjoyment, as no one gets truly hurt from it unless someon goese too far, no different than a good game of football.

Nothing Causes Violence, its the way people think. Like I said previous times, Japanese People (whether 8 or 88) are less likely to copy STUPID stuff off TV as Americans (or just plain stupid people) would.

How can anyone take pokemon THAT seriously, its jsut a game man. Let us blow our money on it, we get our stuff, the people in Japan get there money=We're all happy
