This VMA's was the worst ever. I liked the '03 one that had the METALLICA ending. Now that was cool.

Eliana-you know, what mike and john were doing. I thought they were going to perform.

Yeah. Metallica was awesome. I forgot what they was playing, though. Chris Rock was the host. He was hilarious for the first half. But after that, I think he got tired of it or something o.O He was boring for the second half XD

Hey, it sucks, too back then when they forced Nirvana to play "Lithium" instead of "Rape Me" ... it was funny when Kurt started the song out with Rape Me's chords but then reverted it to Lithium, which scared the hell out of MTV producers... Kurt was awesome... RIP
 
I think we should sue MTV...>_> They're making bands seem retarded...
 
Eli you don't like Pop? I actually like pop, rock, rap (somtimes), r&b, country (sometimes) mostly everything... But I am glad that kelly clarkson won because she has, in my opinion, one of the top 10 best voices in the music industry.
 
How many of you thought the Reggaeton was hot? That was okay
 
It's not a person XD it's the performance that those dudes were singing in spanish. The only one I knew was Daddy Yankee 'cause the gasolina is hot.

I despise pretty much everthing except for Rock...XD If I couldn't like Rock...I'd pick rockish pop...XD

I had no idea you were so musicist (my made up word for raceist ppl but not with race but with music XD) Anyway, I don't blame ya I use to hate everything except rock too....
 
Reggaeton is a mix of spanish reggae, and spanish rap. I hate it so much XD I hated it ever since it came out like 2 years ago or something.

Being that we're on the spanish subject...

I loved the Shakira performance. She's so hot. And she can sing and dance XD I loved her since I was little. I like her older songs much more. Since she first came out in America, I only liked that new video with the other dude o.O I cant remember what it's called. All of her other songs, since her American debut, sucked. Her songs from like 1999 and stuff are awesome.
 
It's SO SAD to see people who don't know what reggaeton is... so sad... I pity the youth's taste of music nowadays...

I try to keep up with as much of the music industry as possible, I subscribe to rolling stone which helps...but It is nearly impossible to know every single music group or person out there.

Anyway, did anyone else think that MCR's performance wasn't good? I just don't think that they do a good live performace (Same with Fall out boy even though they didn't perform)

But one performance I did like was the killers, even though Brandon Flowers isn't really a good frontman, he sings good, but not a good performer.

Fall Out Boy did perform. But it was in the Pre Show, I think. MCR has gotten much much better at performing live. Before, I didnt even want to go to any of their concerts cause they sucked XD But now, I'd love to. I wonder why they all of a sudden became much better o.O Maybe they're wearing magic makeup now! XD

Or maybe there was some kind of good singing agent in the makeup that sunk into thier brains. oO; Anyway, I don't think either of them do good. Green Day did pretty good live, they usually do average live, but they always put on a good show at least. All whats his from MCR did was walk around a bunch...
