Is anyone interested in Vocaloids or UTAUloids? :P

For those of you who don't know what a Vocaloid is, here's a link.

Well, I discovered it about a year ago, when I found Miku Hatsune on Photobucket. Listened to a few of her songs, and everything went downhill from there...
After that, I found out about Teto Kasane from a song she did with Miku, and I learned about UTAUloids. I prefer them over Vocaloids now...

I find it cool how unique the UTAUs are, especially since they're free to use and a lot of people are making them now. The con is that a lot of them don't sound very good...

I love the VIPloids most of all. Teto Kasane, Ruko Yokune (my absolute favourite), and Ritsu Namine. They've got the cutest voices. :D

Recently I've been going back to Vocaloids and listening to Gumi. I'm really starting to fall in love with her voice, it's so clear and pretty. I like the newer Vocaloid Yuki Kaii as well, she sounds sooo cute and realistic.

So, without making this very tl;dr...

My favourite Vocaloids: Gumi and Yuki

My favourite UTAUs: Ruko Yokune, Ritsu Namine, Teto Kasane, Sekka Yufu, Satemaro...I know I'm forgetting one or two.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who listens to them...I'd love to hear your guys' opinions, and maybe some song recommendations?

    Vocaloids, ftw. <3

UM ever heard "MeltDOWN" Rin Kagamine
    "Spice!" - Len Kagamine
    "Magnet" Luka & Miku
? I used to be obsessed with them last year.
But i sorta started looking up other things and changed obsessions. xD

    Btw. Luka's voice .. i think is beautiful.&So is Gumi's.

    Oh, naturally, dahling!

Discovered them around three months ago, by finding Len and Rin's Daughter of Evil on youtube, and I went from there!

Favorite Vocaloid(s): Len Kagamine, Kaito, Miku Hatsune, and Gumi!~<3
Favorite UTAUloid(s): Ritsu Namine, Sana Fuyune, and Sora Suiga. ;D

Song recommendations have to be SPICE by Len, all the World is Mine versions, and the Daughter of Evil four-part, and Kig of Darkness by Kaito.. (These are my favourites. ;D)

Dun worry! You aren't the only one who listens to themm! ;D

I'm actually thinking about cosplaying as either Miku or Rin at some point. ;D <3

Oh, I looove Magnet. It's so sweet. ♥ There are so many versions now, but nothing beats Miku's and Luka's, I think.

I really like Meltdown as well, but I'm not really a fan of Rin's voice. I usually listen to Neru's cover of it, sounds pretty close to Rin's without sounding too much like her.

I just listened to Spice! It's pretty catchy! Thanks for the recommendation. :)

I'd love to cosplay sometime. Will you show me pics if you do? :D

    I'll recommend a few...

I really like Kaito's cover of Byakko no Musume, and Futari no Harmony, which is a duet with Meiko.

Miku's Sin and Punishment, Two-Faced Lovers, and oFFENCe. I don't listen to Miku much anymore, I'd like to find some good songs by her.

I love Ruko's cover of Luka's Love Disease/Sickness, as well RIP=Release (especially using her new voice, it's so smooth ♥), a duet with Ritsu Namine called Toki wo Kizamu Uta where they both use their new voices, sounds pretty nice.

I like Gumi's Riverside, Tori no Uta, and her version of Don't Say "Lazy", and her cover of Bad Apple!! with Nana Macne. I'm also looking for some good songs by her.

I'm not too keen on UTAU's- I prefer Nico Nico Singers. But my favorite UTAU is probably Loki, despite having only been exposed to like, five UTAU's that are a little more on the obscure side.

For Vocaloids, I tend to like Gakupo, Kaito, and Luka's songs the most. Gumi's songs are pretty good too.

IMITATION BLACK (Gakupo, Len, Kaito), Coward Mont Blanc (Gumi), Just Be Friends (Luka), and Google It (Gakupo and Luka) are some of my favorites. =w=

Coward Mont Blanc and Blue Bird are easily my favorite Gumi songs, RuRuBell. <3
I highly recommend checking them out if you're looking for quality Gumi. =w=

    I love Vocaloid

Favorites would have to be Kiyoteru Hiyama and Gakupo Kamui
and Gumi and the Kagamine twins oAo

Some of my favorite songs would have to be Keep On Shining, Paranoid Doll, Under The Darkness, Brilliant EVE, Kokoro and Kiseki, Prisoner and Paper Plane, and Tsuki Uta oAo
    I love Magent too

I also really like some of the Engloids like Sweet Ann ouo

Most of the music I listen to is vocaloid lol.

My favorite song is a vocaloid song actually lol.

This is a pretty good one too that most ppl probably haven't heard.

Gasp!? You mean there are other Vocaloids other than Miku Hatsune!?

Frankly, I don't like Vocaloids, since their voice are too high, even for a guy. (I think it was one of the twins, forgot the name.) Although, I listen to some of Miku Hatsune's song once in a while. My favorite are Black Rock Shooter and World is Mine.

    Cool thread. /thumbs up

I got into VOCALOID via my pair. She had a VOCALOID video on her profile (I believe it was Miku's "World Is Mine") and I listened to it and I really liked it. So I asked her what VOCALOID was and all that (I had heard of it beforehand but I never actually knew what it is) and that's basically how I got into it. Then I got into UTAULOIDs. Then I got into Nico Nico Singers. But I still prefer VOCALOIDs out of the three of them.

My favourite VOCALOIDs are Miku Hatsune, Luka Megurine, Rin & Len Kagamine and GUMI. I'm starting to get into GUMI and SF-A2 Miki since their voices sounds lovely. I like KAITO and all the other males but I prefer the females. Favourite UTAULOIDs are Teto Kasane, Tsubame Utanomiyatsuko, Nana Macne and Ruko Yokune.

@RuRuBell: As Loki previously said, Coward Mont Blanc (DECO*27 never fails to amaze me) and blue bird are great GUMI songs. Her versions of Sayonara Memories and Kimi no Shiranai Monogatari are great too, though I prefer the original versions. COSMiCA is pretty nice to listen to. She sings along nicely with Miku in Crosslight, and she sounds great with SF-A2 Miki in Super・Nova as well. I would recommend more GUMI songs but I'm only starting to get into her. D: For good Miku songs then anything by supercell or livetune (including their remixes) is bound to be good. I've been listening to Rolling Girl a lot lately and I love it. envy., YUUTSU and Hanare, Banare -reprise- and Piano・Lesson -reprise- sound amazing because Furukawa (the composer of those songs) managed to get ahold of Miku's new voice append which makes her sound awesome (and quite realistic!). There's way too many Miku songs I'd recommend to you so I'll just try to recommend my absolute favourites: I.C (I, See), Miku Miku Ni Shite Ageru♪, ZOU N'n'Tech, Saihate, Colorful Puzzle Piece, Star Story (GAME edit), D.E.N.P.A., Finder, Fake Lover, Rainbow Outline, Always Fluffy., Romeo and Cinderella, The Disappearance of Miku Hatsune and celluloid -P∴Rhythmatiq remix-… That's a lot of favourites. xD

Loki: I'd heard of Blue Bird before, but Coward Mont Blanc was new. It had a nice beat and Gumi's voice was very nice in it! Thanks for the recommendation.

ReyRey-Pyon: I sometimes forget about the English speaking ones! :S They're under-rated, but good! I like Sweet Ann too, and Prima's got a really lovely voice.

Hagumi: Thanks for all those recommendations! It'll keep me busy for a while. xD
I actually just heard Rolling Girl yesterday from my Youtube reccomendation list, and was going to post aboout it today. It's really good!
I thought Saihate was actually Ritsu's song...didn't know Miku sang it originally. I LOVE Ritsu's cover of it (it was his first song that I heard), so it should sound good by Miku too.

Two other songs I forgot to mention that I like were Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, and Toeto. A lot of Vocaloids and Utauloids have done covers for both of them, so that's nice to listen to. I love the art of Butterfly on Your Right Shoulder, I actually have Haine Lin's version as my desktop background. :P
